Linking to games, the 360 has a feature to allow music in the HDD and network to be played back as game BGM.

PS3 already has such function in the system software. It is up to the game developers to use the function. Same goes for pictures and videos.huriona
hey if you can have pictures and videos in game imagine this... your playing littlebigplanet and you try out some guys level and in it he's slapped on a big video player where he laughs at you calls you pathetic and you cant beat his level (thats a motivator!) and imagine using pictures off your hardrive as those stickers
loved this one, wonder if he's lying or not?
a currently japan-only game called Mainichi Issyo (basicaly home-lite, with cats) had a recent patch update alowing the user to, well... read the bold below
"Mainichi Issyoalso has mini games like Paper, Rock, Scissors. Actually, it's a lot of fun, and Sony should consider taking it to international markets. Thanks to the latest patch, it now seems to also have an in-game chatting function. Players can send, write and receive messages while playing as well as see the list of your friends and players met while in Mainichi Issyo. It's a free download from the Japanese PSN Store, and here's info on how to create a Japanese account in order to get it. Like I said, think of this as Home-lite. With cats."
looks like we may have in-game XMB soon, very soon, keep your fingers crossed!

yes, it should be set in a photrealistic representation of vatican cityjtim6007
i cant believe nobody has relised this may be a bad thing, the church of england got pissed at sony for including manchester cathedral, this is the vatican, the pope would condemn sony for that...more bad press, besides how did hale get to italy? wouldn't he have to go through france or a few other countries first?
well apparently ps3 will drop in price by $200 at the end of the month lick herefor more info
i think its a fat load of bull**** but still if it did drop by that much so soon, PS3's will be flying off the shelves and we may find ourselves in the same situation the wii is in (sold out, try again next week) and there is a little proof they may do it, sony recently droped the price of their blu-ray player by $100, but still i dont believe we will see a price drop until the non-denominational winter holidays (a little political humour there).
so i just came up with a great idea for a new game, survival war
so we've all played a survival horror at least once, something supernatural or undead starts invading your a civilian and all you want to do is to get somewhere safe right? well this is the same idea you play an average civilian and the game starts with you just going about your buisness, thing is there's tension between the people and the country you live in and you start to hear things about a rebel force and abloody violent revolution, but your character just brushes it off, then comes one morning when all hell breaks loose and the rebels start a massive assault on your government and the front lines are in the middle of the city you live in, so now you need to escape, your a civilian so your not to skilled with a gun, but you can use it when you have to. you come across various rebel and government forces and you have to use them to your advantage to get out of the city, by use to your advantage it could mean you use a rebel squad to take out a government force thats blocking your way or you can aid them with fighting the opposite side in order to gain safe passage. in the end the main goal is get out of the city before its to late, and the final scene could be perhaps you make it to an airport and highjack a plane and as your flying away your passed by a ground of government bombers which proceed to carpet bomb the city you just came from.
what do you guys think?
