I'm very confused by people praising GT5 as the better sim.

It has a complete lack of, or at least very questionable damage compared to Forza,

Customization is limited compared to Forza,

You don't take damage from downshifting,

There are no leader boards.

How can anyone in their right mind claim it's a better sim???

If I'm playing online in my league in F3, if I so much as tap another car by accident, it's race over. Same goes for tapping a wall, or down shifting one gear too many. You can say 'I don't hit people, so it doesn't matter' but that's not the point. If I'm in a race and I can't stop in time, I have to swerve off the road in F3, otherwise I take myself out, my opponent, and possibly anyone else that may get involved. This makes close racing much much more exciting rather than just old bumper cars.

Bring on the next gen already. Why would I care about last gen when something better is available?

Duke was huge back in the day.

Commander keen and Duke Nukem were THE platformers, especially coz they were shareware and you could get the disks anywhere for free. Or a dollar.

Duke 3D was cool because it went from the game I used to play on my 386 to this over the top shooter. Just solid gameplay.
