I downloaded the original Silent Hill from the PSN today. I never had a PSone, so I never got to play it. One of the coolest things about the next-gen consoles, in my opinion, is the ability to download and play games that I wasn't interested in when I was younger but I want to play now or games that I loved as a kid but no longer have the hardware to play. I've downloaded several games from the Wii's virtual console, but this is my first purchase from the PS store.

Also in the awesome column: my mom found an unused $50 Best Buy gift card in a drawer! She thinks she bought it as a "back-up gift" a couple years back and no one needed it. She gave it to me and I used to buy Kolona for the Wii and God of War: Collection for PS3. I'm really excited to play through the legendary PS2 titles in HD! It's a great marketing tool, actually, because even though I didn't play them when they were new, I'll probably end up buying GOW III after I play through them.
