How do you get to be an analyst? They are as dumb as the guessing leakers and influencers. Everyone knows the Switch 2 will cost more than the original and there is no way the Switch 2 will sell as many as the original. The original switch has a decent chance to become the all time leader in console sales. The introduction of Switch clones (Steam deck, etc) and not having a lockdown situation ever again are the 2 biggest reasons the Switch 2 will sell less units.

@guitarwarrior66: these are assumptions. You cannot guarantee that any of the 1.7 billion people are ones that would buy a switch. Population has actually decreased in the civilization nations. People in third world countries typically do not have the ability to acquire a Nintendo switch. I guess Sony will claim they sold 200 million here shortly once the switch passes them.
