@heavengirl15: No one votes with their wallets. Not a single gamer has any dignity or self restraint. Things wouldn't be as fucked up as they are if gamers voted with their wallets. mass consumption rules the day.
@heavengirl15: I hope not, but I also wish there were stricter policies on making sure the games are measurably better. devs have slacked off with the Pro. Perhaps with the X there will be more incentive for them to do better.
@jako998: It's ironic that Microsoft held developers hostage from releasing their games on other platforms or even yet, strangling them so tight they couldn't creatively build their game and end up getting it canceled and still they get to decide whether or not they'll support the purpose for why people buy the console.
I would expect all new games going forward to support the X. I really only care about Sunset Overdrive since that is the only non-first party console exclusive to not get a PC release so far. Get that in 4K with HDR and you'll have a visual masterpiece.
That is if the console ever gets FCC approval, otherwise, all this talk is for nothing since it will never launch.
@runstalker: It's extremely difficult to tell you're gaming at 1800p with the Pro on 55"/65" 4K tv's unless you do a detailed side by side with a PC running maxed out. The true test of a great image is gaming without the feeling you are missing anything or notice distracting jagged lines or the like. In the console space I'm equally happy with anything 1800p or above. It wasn't until i actually got to see it and experience it that I was able to believe it. Something the xbox fanjerks refuse to acknowledge because they boycott all things reasonably minded.
@davillain-: That's one of the countless things Microsoft tried to erase from history. They obviously didn't get to flash their men in black stick at you yet.
