are games art? many people have different opinios on this. me personally think so. poetry is a form of art right? well someone once told me that poetry is simply a beautiful way of sayin something. in other words u are expressing ur thoughts and emotions in a beautiful rythmic way. in games feelings are expressed. it may not appear as beautiful a way of expressing it but in reality, it is expressed in the motion of the character, the way of his tone, his feelings displayed in battle. take god of war for instance. it may not seem artistic. but if u pay attention to the story u would learn of the joy kratos once had for the killing of warriors. he now shows regret for his actions. he fights only for revenge. u as the player can FEEL emotions as u play. if  he gets ticked u feel his anger and use the controller with more focus on devestating and brutal ways of killing instead of what would appear to be most strategic. okami for another example. the game in motion is apsolutely graceful and artistic. thats the only explanation i find for okami being "artistic." most would laugh if u said god of war is more artistic than okami.  but god of war shows more emotion. games show emotion and make u feel emotion like poems. in my opinion gaming is the most artistic form of entertainment hobbie.
