Hi! I joined this union awhile back, but I at the time I had only played a few of the games and wasn't really into the FFs yet. And then that all changed.

Anyway, the point of this thread is, of course, the new game. Its a lot better than I thought it would be. In fact, it's what pushed me to get on here. The only person I can talk to about it is only one person and I would love to see what you guys think.

So my opinion: the game is brilliant. Its fun yet challenging(at times), the music brings me joy, my ability to have a party of who I want from many different games is awesome, the puny little plot made me feel bursts of affection for the its puniness, and it makes me want to collect everything I possibly can.

Anyone agree or disagree?

Hi everyone! Not sure if this is allowed or not(I tried to find something saying whether it was or not, but failed to find anything), but I am here to promote my union, KHE(Kingdom Hearts Expirience). We're a quiet little union that could use some new faces and those willing to discuss things/state opinions. Things might look a little quiet right now, but if many of you join, that will no longer be the problem. I'll float our game threads and start some fun new threads :D

At least give us a try?

Their baby had a weird name..johngrose77

In English, yes. Vidina. Really Wakka, really? Silly Lulu. She should have named it. In Japanese it's not so bad: Inami.

Donna and Bartello are one of the best couples in the entire series, in my opinion. X sure gave us a lot of good couples, ne?

Ashe and Basch seems more logical than Square's Balthier/Ashe. I think they were trying too hard. FFN doesn't buy it.

Good analogy. I agree. I'd hate to stumble across him again(please, Square, let's not add him to KH).

I entered the world of Squeenix through Kingdom Hearts. So, whenever I came across a FF villian, I formed an opinion on them because, at that time, I hadn't been sucked into the addicting plots that come with FF games. (Thanks Emil and Vin, you've created a monster).

Kefka is almost always protrayed in a non-serious manner. So, when I finally got to VI, and first met him, my first impression was that they are right. He's so clutsy and immature and just overall not really villian material.

Or so I thought.

When he poisioned Doma's river, I was surprised. I thought that he might finally morph into something terrifying. But he didn't. He continued being the typical worthless villian type that he had always been(like Team Rocket). It wasn't until I got to Thalmasa(where he kills the espers and General Leo(I liked him too, dang it)) that I realized that I was right. Suddenly, Kefka shows us this dark side that surprised me. After killing all of these things, and turning the world upside down, I couldn't ever believe that he was just some loony clown ever again. I actually dreaded fighting him in the final battle, and a small part of me expected the true antagonist to step up and Kefka to have a turn around. I thought that perhaps it was just a phase he was going through.

Obviously, I was wrong. I'm not sure that there is a villian out there as immoral as Kefka is. If there is, would you guys do me a favor let me know now? I don't want a full summary, just a little 'well, there is so-and-so from FF##.' I have VII, VII, X and XII covered.

Bent on revenge. Ugh, you get two-three turns at best to beat him before you die. Thank goodness for save spots. Emil and I never would have gotten through him without one. And thank goodness for a maxed out gunner, two dark knights, and catnip. Oh strategy. Works almost every time.

I consider Yunalesca a villian because she's a boss. Lenne, not so much, but she is involved with the antagonist of X-2. Antagonist by association, perhaps?
