Kingdom Hearts 3 - Possible new worlds

The Kingdom Hearts series is a loved and vast series just like its owner Disney. The games allow you to play through many worlds inspired by the vast world of Disney these worlds are intricate, massive and fun and even let you team up with the characters accustom to that world, worlds like Pirates of the Caribbean, Hercules, Little Mermaid etc.

These worlds are a part of what makes Kingdom Hearts such a great series and with Kingdom Hearts 3 in the works and coming soon there will be many new worlds added to the game, Disney as a company are one of the biggest in the world and own the rights to some of entertainments biggest franchises, so what possible worlds could we be looking forward to? I will discuss some of the worlds I would like to see and then some other worlds that could get picked and why I think they might not make the cut

Star Wars:

Jedi Master Mickey?
Jedi Master Mickey?

The first world I would like to see and a world I feel will be in the game is a Star Wars themed world. With the new Star Wars movie coming in 2015 the Star Wars craze has started to infect everyone and is now coming back out of its slumber so it would be ridiculous for Disney not to capitalize on this especially since they could tie the world in with either The Force Awakens or their new animated show Star Wars Rebels, my preference would be with Rebels as its already animated and a little more PG than the upcoming movie. Star Wars would be a great world within Kingdom Hearts, think about it Mickey, Goofy and the gang taking on Vader and other Sith Lords not to mention LIGHTSABER KEYBLADES!!! Hell yeah Lightsaber Keyblades would be the coolest thing ever. A world set on one of the Star Wars planets or within a Death Star would be a nice addition to the Kingdom Hearts as well as the characters. I think this world is one of the most likely to been chosen for Kingdom Hearts 3 and I would love to see it.

Marvel:

Another impressive franchise now owned by Disney is of course the Marvel Cinematic Universe mind you with a few big names left out, Spider-man, Fantastic Four and X-Men.

The universe still has many big names most notably The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy. A world were the player teams up with The Avengers including Iron Man and the Mighty Thor would be quite interesting to say the least, working with the whole team and utilizing all their unique skills to complete your objectives would be fun and challenging not to mention the possibilities of what type of Keyblade would be used, Mjolnir styled or possibly a techy type created by Stark Industries. The humor involved with The Avengers would also suit the style and usual lightheartedness of Kingdom Hearts. Also with Age of Ultron coming soon The Avengers are high up on every fanboys list and would be a great addition to Kingdom Hearts 3.

Toy Story:

Another world I think should be ventured into is a world I'm surprised has not already been created and that is a Toy Story themed world. Toy Story is one of Disneys most loved series and Woody & Buzz are some of their biggest protagonists, of course Buzz and Woody were originally planned to appear as summons in Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix but sadly that idea was scrapped, hopefully they will go back and decide to create an entire world themed around Toy Story and the amazing characters within it. An adventure with Woody and the gang would be amazing and very fun in my opinion. How they integrate this world is another question would the world be played in real world were the toys must not be detected by the humans or would it be played within the imagination of Andy or another child? Both possibilities are interesting and would bring their own unique style to the game, though the real world aspect and trying not to get detected by humans would be challenging and fun I would rather the imagination aspect as it would leave the world open to much more possibilities and would be interesting, unique and fun, though the developers might opt for a different type of world if they decided on a Toy Story themed world of course.

Frozen:

Arendelle- a very likely world for KH3
Arendelle- a very likely world for KH3

This is a world that I myself would not like to see but it is a world that seems more and more likely the more I think of it. Frozen is Disneys money maker at the moment, the musical movie took the world by storm and it seems nearly everyone in the world young and old love the new movie though I think it has nothing on the real Disney musical Lion King, but personal opinion aside I think that Frozen will be used in Kingdom Hearts 3 as many people worldwide would love to team up with Elsa, Anna, Olaf and the rest of the Frozen gang. I think an Ice Kingdom would be a good and original world as nothing like it has been created in the Kingdom Hearts universe, not to mention a world that is Frozen themed might reel in some new customers for Kingdom Hearts as many kids would flock to the stores to spend their parents hard earned cash on the game to get to play within the world of Arendelle. This world isn't one I would opt for myself but I do believe it could be very fun and also it would also be very likely to make an appearance in Kingdom Hearts 3.

The worlds above are of course some of the many possible worlds for the upcoming game, I myself just felt that they are the most likely though many others could make an appearance such as Indiana Jones, Monsters Inc, Atlantis, Emperors New Groove, Gargoyles and Finding Nemo. Personally I would like to see a world made from Indiana Jones, Atlantis and Gargoyles though the Gargoyles one is very unlikely but one can dream. Finding Nemo is another that I think is unlikely as Underwater worlds in Kingdom Hearts is usually ventured into with Ariel and the rest of the little mermaid gang and also I don't think fish are very handy with a keyblade or even in a fight especially with Dory's memory and Nemo's dodgy fin. Disney has many different franchises and series to their disposal and I'm sure many of them will make an appearance in Kingdom Hearts 3. What worlds would you like to see in Kingdom Hearts 3?

Crash Bandicoot - A forgotten gem.

With the 20th anniversary of the Playstation passing many have looked back and the shining history of the gaming company. There has been many great moments for the company such as the risk of the jump to disk drive, a risk that most definitely paid off and may have seen the fall of the Nintendo 64. Others have fond memories of the series’ which came to life on the system such as Metal Gear, Abe’s Odyssey and even the Final Fantasy series which may not have started on the Playstation but it was definitely expanded and the relationship between Square Enix and Sony will always be remembered. I would like to remember something else or more of a someone else, a forgotten mascot, a silent protagonist and one of the first faces that come to mind when you hear the words ‘Playstation’, Crash Bandicoot, the red haired, box smashing, denim loving bandicoot. Crash Bandicoot was my hero as a kid (besides Goku and Obi-Wan) and the escapades I and many others had with him, collecting apples, jumping on boxes, out-running boulders and thwarting Dr.Neo Cortex’s evil plans. Great memories but sadly this great hero and mascot of the Playstation has been forgotten by his creators. The original Crash Bandicoot trilogy was an amazing adventure game with a perfect mixture of new console mechanics and arcade mechanics with great use of collecting, jumping, bonus levels and the many differently themed levels which all had an original feel to them. The games were praised for the originality of their levels which all had different ways of reaching the end, you had to use lots of different objects to complete the levels such as motorbikes, jet-ski’s, submarines, polar bears and other wild animals, this theme went the whole way through all the games and even into the Ps2 era with games such as The Wrath of Cortex. The game many will remember as the best though was a game you used a kart and only a kart to complete it and that game was of course, Crash Team Racing, CTR was the first mascot themed kart game that could really go toe to toe with Mario Kart, and in my opinion it was a better all round game. The single-player mode was more enjoyable with every section having races and eventually a boss race against many different styled bosses such as Ripper Roo, the map was open and you could drive around the whole map freely as long as you had the part unlocked. The power ups/weapons were all very fun to use such as the rockets, protective bubble which could also be shot, and the TNT/Nitro crates which ensured you were not passed out by your enemies. The racetracks were very fun to race on and had an original feel but they were still underwhelming compared to the tracks of Mario Kart. All these games were packed full of action, adventure, originality, challenges and most of all memories, memories you can still relive via the Playstation Store but reliving them isn't enough anymore the feeling of nostalgia is drying up as Sony sits by and watches as their beloved mascot fades away into the realm of forgotten mascots.

Would you like a reunion with this gang?
Would you like a reunion with this gang?

But there is hope, a small glimmer of hope but hope nonetheless. In July 2014, Andrew House did announce that a possible revival was on the cards. He said that whenever they sit down and discuss ideas for the Playstation and its games Crash is always a topic which is brought up and discussed. Some may think going back to an old mascot would be a sign of weakness and unoriginality but many others including myself would love a reunion with our red furred friend and a new PlayStation exclusive Crash Bandicoot game could be a real help to Sony in the console wars as many nostalgic gamers would savour the opportunity to have another adventure with Crash, Aku-Aku and the rest of the gang. All of this is of course in Sony’s hands, they decide the fate of Crash, they could shoot new life into the beloved character or they can let him fade away into a mere nostalgic memory.

Does Star Wars need a new RPG?

With Star Wars: Force Awakens coming closer with every passing minute and with it breathing new life into the Star Wars series with a new trilogy and at least one spin-off movie, it can be said that Star Wars is back and looking to make an impact, and with this return to glory I must ask, is a new Star Wars RPG needed? I would say yes. Star wars games have always been greeted with mostly good feedback. The Knights of the Old Republic games and the Battlefront games both are well known and well-loved games. Battlefront 3 is in the works and is quoted to be released around next November, so should a new RPG be also needed. The RPG genre is one of the best and most loved genres in gaming, it allows you to be whomever you would like to be and you can choose to live that characters life however you see fit thanks to most RPG’s non-linear style of gameplay. But most RPG games these days seem to be set in medieval times, games such as Dragon Age, Elder Scrolls and Dark Souls. These are all great games but they can all sometimes feel very similar. The Space RPG genre is something that is slowing growing with games like Destiny and the highly anticipated No Man’s Sky, but the market for these games still feel lacking, some people may consider Mass Effect a Space RPG but it still feels too much like and Action-Adventure/Shooter. This is why I believe that a new Star Wars RPG is badly needed and would thrive within the market.

Battlefront 3 out next year- should an RPG be in the works too?
Battlefront 3 out next year- should an RPG be in the works too?

The Star Wars universe is one of the broadest and expanded in Fiction, to even try and read through all the books or even the aptly named Wookiepedia would take someone an age, so a game built in this universe would be vast and thriving. Before Star Wars games only ever really gave you two choices become a Jedi/Sith or become a soldier and that seemed to be it, even KOTOR gave you three character classes but eventually it ended the same way with you becoming a Jedi, so a game which allowed you to choose whatever path you wanted, Soldier, Pilot, Thief, Jedi, Sith, Bounty Hunter, Warrior or another, and how you wanted to walk that path would be a very rewarding game indeed. This would also be the same for the character races, Star Wars has a countless amount of races and being able to choose one of them would be a frustrating but great decision to be granted, play as a Wookie and use your brute strength as an advantage against your enemies, play as a Rodian and be the one who shoots first, play as a Mandalorian and use your ancestors vast knowledge of war to rule the galaxy. These are all mouth-watering ideas but they are only ideas, to see them come to life would be a real treat, being able to play as a Bounty Hunter working any contract the more dangerous the more credits, being able to save the galaxy as one of the greatest Jedi Knights or rule it as a feared and powerful Sith Lord! Or choose both sides of the force and walk your own path as a Dark Jedi, a Star Wars RPG would have endless possibilities of how to play it.

Of course many Star Wars games in the past have found it hard to find a balance in the weapons/powers, some games had amazing combat but lacked in the Force and with guns while others shared the opposite problem but a game that could mix the KOTOR or Revenge of the Siths combat, Force Unleashed force powers and even a hint of Battlefronts shooting would find a perfect balance but those things are easier said than done. A Star Wars RPG would be ideal and greeted with open arms but sadly I or you have no power over this…unless of course you work for Disney/Bioware then you have lots of power over this, but for the rest of us we are just fans with a hope…a new hope that the force will awaken on our gaming systems and desktops in the near future.

5 Annoying Video Game Enemies.

In video games there are many different types of enemies many are repetitive and others are easy but then there are the ones who are just extremely annoying and has caused the death of many a controller. Some of you will not agree with this list but these are the 5 most annoying enemies that I have encountered and also there is a difference between annoying and difficult. Enjoy

Cazador- Fallout New Vegas:

Cazador
Cazador

Fallout is a game that is full of annoying and difficult enemies and while the most known enemy throughout the game are Deathclaws, the Cazador in Fallout New Vegas is the one that drives me insane and has me screaming obscenities every time I come across one of these hordes. These mutated bugs are usually found in groups and if you come across one of these hordes you better hope they don't see you, if they do then prepare for death because even the best weapons in this game will find it difficult to wipe out a horde of these death bringers. On their own they can still cause problems but are pretty manageable but in a group they are just terrifying..they are basically the video game equivalent to wasps in the summer when you see one you better hope that you are not on its list of things to **** up.

Badass Rakk- Borderlands 2:

Borderlands 2. The home of the Badass Rakks
Borderlands 2. The home of the Badass Rakks

Another annoying enemy found in the sky.

Anyone who plays Borderlands will know that when you see an enemy you should have no problem defeating them....unless they have the word Badass in front of their name then you know you are in for a difficult fight. The one name you never want to see after the word Badass is Rakk, if you do you better prepare yourself for a battle to the death...did I say battle I meant beating prepare yourself for a beating to death because these flying monsters take no prisoners and deserve the title of Badass because that's exactly what they are, Badass. What makes these things more annoying is that normal Rakks are so weak and easily disposed of that when you first meet a Badass Rakk you think you got it easy and it will be over quickly and your stupid ass is right about one of those things it is over quickly..over for you cause you have just been straight up murdered. The Badass Rakk is basically like Gyrados or that kid who was bullied at school then joins the gym and turns into a new man who nobody fucks with. Just like that kid you shouldn't **** with a group of Badass Rakks because it will end in your death and possibly the destruction of something in your room.

Whitney's Miltank- Pokemon Gold/Silver:

Miltank use Rollout!

Whitney

Say hello to your childhood nightmare. Fucking Whitney's Miltank. This weird cow looking thing destroyed your whole Pokemon party without even trying time and time again and the happiness you feel when you finally beat the fucker is out weighed from the constant anger you felt while it rolled all over your Pokemon. Whitney is the third gym leader in the Johto region and uses Normal type Pokemon, most of her Pokemon are beaten with ease and it gives you the false hope that you are going to easily defeat this girl but then she 'rolls out' her trump card, Miltank and once this fucker leaves its Pokeball its game over. Using literally two moves this pink devil destroys your party. She just uses rollout after rollout until your Pokemon are all in the Poke Center and even if you do hurt this monstrosity she will just use another one of her dreaded moves, Milk Drink where she literally drinks milk from her own udder and restores her HP, that shit is sadistic and annoying! If you play the game again you can work out a good strategy and make your Pokemon strong enough to dispose of Whitney's Miltank first or second try but as a kid trying to take on this powerful cow without any warning it drives you to the brink of insanity. People say video games don't make gamers angry or dangerous..well Whitney's Miltank is an exception.

Every Enemy - Dark Souls:

No Caption Provided

You all knew that an enemy from Dark Souls would make it on here. The thing is though is that its not one enemy its all the enemies because this game is just constant frustration and anger from the tutorial on wards. Usually an RPG has difficult enemies and then it has enemies that you are glad to run into for an easy kill and XP, does Dark Souls have any of these enemies ? **** no the whole game is full of devastating enemies that just want to kill you and most of the time you do. You barely even feel happy when you kill an enemy because all you're doing is prolonging the inevitable which of course is your death. These difficult enemies is why Dark Souls is such a well known game because gamers want to challenge themselves to see what is the least amount of deaths they can get while completing this game but the enemies are so annoying and frustrating that many people break a controller, TV or even the game before they complete it. The game has a version aptly named 'Prepare to die edition' and thats what you should do, you should prepare to die.

The Train- GTA: San Andreas

No Caption Provided

Everyone should be able to relate to this one. The Goddamn Train in San Andreas!. GTA is not known for its annoying enemies except maybe the cops, but there just doing their job (badly but they are doing it), so when the train mission came along it was a real kick in the nuts.

The mission has Big Smoke ordering CJ to follow a train on a Sanchez so Big Smoke can shoot and kill 4 Vagos members. The task sounds simple but my god its not. You must chase after this train all while trying not to be hit by oncoming traffic or other trains, all while Big Smoke is constantly shouting at you to 'Follow the damn train!'. This mission is the most frustrating in GTA in my opinion and though the train is not an enemy in the fact that it doesn't attack or kill you, it does cause many of your deaths due to crashing into oncoming traffic or other trains and after you are finished you will have sworn hatred towards that train which makes it an enemy in my books, at least the other enemies on this list you can kill to make yourself feel happy but not with this asshole, this asshole is a lifeless object that you cant destroy.

This train will always be remembered when you get nostalgic about the great game that is San Andreas and it will most likely always anger you.

All you had to do was follow the damn train, CJ!
