And you hardly will see any difference in picture quality in screens smaller than 42in(depending on your visual accuracy, 56in).
Not true, i watch all my HD DVDS and Blu Rays on a 32" 720p tv, the difference is extremly noticeable and well worth the upgrade. My 250+ collection of dvds now looks so ... bad to me its bad being spoiled by HD movies.
You can't watch Blu Ray in 720p, the only output resolution is 1080i or 1080p. If you have your PS3 set in 720p, you're actually watching Blu Ray with the resolution of 420p....
