From what I have been reading from joystiq.com and various form posts, this what I paste together. Jeff Grestmann, a well respected employee who workedat Gamespot.com for ten years and became the face of the company, was fired over the review of Kane and Lynch: Dead Men. Jeff gave it a 6.0 which is fair because the game has some flaws to it and not interesting characters. At this time, Edios was placing Ads all over gamespot, Website skins, make your own trailer, ect. Edios wasn't too happy with the review, especially since they put all this money into advertisments. Edios announce that they arent going to do any more advertisment which can result in loss of money. Cnet sacrifices Jeff for the sake of money. Am I Wrong?I'f I'm not, that what a sack of crap then. This site soul purpose is to inform gamers what games are Great, what games are bad, what games are coming down the line, what news is going on in the industry, and giving enough infomation and previews to help gamers tomake the right purchase of a game. The fine men and womenwho workhere are to give their opinions about these games, it is not up to companies to give their money to change they're opinions. If the game is bad, its bad, get over it, you should put that money that you used for advertisments into the game, and maybe it wouldn't of sucked that much. Now that gamespot is a sinking ship from what I know, I have no site. This was my number one game site, and now its gone to hell. There arehundreds of other gaming sites that deserve my attention, where do I go? This is a mess. I wished Jeff, Tim, Alex, Eckberg, and other Gamespot employees that have left becuase the suit have taken over the best of luck, and toall you users out there who supported them through out the years, I give my thanks. This is truely the end of aMagnificent site andthey all find some place new to go.
