Ive heard just about every rant about the ps3 out there and not one of them has been properly supported by evidence. Some people complain about cost, others about hardware, others about lack of games and even suckish internet connections. Well i have had my PS3 for about 4 months and not one of these points have effected me in the least bit.

There is a quite simple counter argument for the first point, the cost. According to gamestop.com the latest 80 gig ps3 right out of the box is $400 bucks, witch is pretty good if u ask me for what you get, which is free internet play, wireless technology, the uber cell processor and the blueray drive. Now the xbox 360 pro, which is the only comparable xbox bundle comes to about $300. Now what you get for that price is 60 gigs of space, no free internet play($50 for a year of xbox live), no free wireless technology ($100 for the wifi connector) and infirior technology. So i think that when buying the ps3 you get more bang for your buck.

Next point is the hardware. Well i dont even see how this could be a point. I mean seriously, Blue Ray drive, Cell processor, bluetooth connectivity, wifi technology, and a great nvidia/SCEI RSX 'Reality Synthesizer' for graphics processing. Hardware isnt even a problem hear

Lack of games is a point that many flame about, but has no evidence to prove it. I mean seriously, the ps3 has the most exclusive game archive out of its competitors. Games like Metal Gear Solid 4, Little Big Planet, Killzone 2, and Resistance 2 are all games that the xbox 360 can only dream of running on its hardware.

Under certain circumstances I could put up with someone that says the Playstation Network is a laggy piece of crap. But only if that person has played some of the first games to comeout for the ps3 like call of duty 3 A.K.A lag of duty. But as for my experience i have noticed no lag what so ever in my online gaming, and that is very good for a free product.

In conclusion there is no reason to hate the ps3 because of its cost, hardware, software, and network. So all you xbox fanboys need to make some decent arguments before you go out on a limb and flame the ps3, cause just remember who the top dog is.
