The fact is that the Xbox 360 is a very westernised product. It doesn't appeal to the Japanese because of its games, which Microsoft will have to invest a lot in to do well.

I hope kamikaze_pigmy is right because I don't want to have to rebuy my Wii Zapper or Wii wheel.

Well it's quite clear what the difference is. On the Xbox 360, the objects seem to stand out more and it seems to have more contrast, which is something that gamers are used to. The PS3 seems slightly less contrasted, which gives it a more 'whole' look to it, as if everything is being rendered simultaneously as one image, as apposed to all of the individual parts one at a time. The thing is, the kind of graphics that a lot of gamers like is like 'Gears Of War', which although is exclusive to Xbox 360, has a more PS3 presentation to it; that's not to say that the PS3 is better or worse, because the PS3 looks like it's trying to look like a film (in a flatish appearence) whereas the Xbox 360 looks like it's trying to look as if you're looking through a window when playing it (as the graphics seem to have more depth). To be honest, for arcadey 3D games, I'd go wth the Xbox 360 every time, but for cell-shading and for more realistic games, I have to say I prefer the PS3, but that's my opinion...

It really looks like an advancement to a console that hasn't ever been done to such a degree before. By this I mean sure, the GBA got a GBA SP, but it didn't really make any major modifications. This 'new' psp looks like the best thing that Sony has decided to do for a long time, considering all of the mistakes it made to do with the PS3. Although I don't actually plan to purchase the slim PSP for myself, I would really be interested to check it out when it comes out and it looks like Sony will pull itself out of the mud in the gaming industry after all...
