I came back to see if they'd redesigned the website again, but I don't think there are any significant changes. So how about actually writing about games?
I played Crash Bandicoot 3 at the beginning of the year and it was, to my surprise, my least favourite of the original trilogy. Of course, this was the remake. It turns out that my favourite is the first game (sans the original version's dubious save system). Perhaps it's all the actual platforming and relative lack of gimmicks.
I played a lot of Resident Evil last year, so I've been in the mood for some old survival horror and I thought I might as well actually finish Project Zero (AKA Fatal Frame). I don't think it was particularly scary and the English dub was not so good, but I thought it held up pretty well and I enjoyed much of it. I'll always appreciate photography-based gameplay. Speaking of which, the Pokémon Snap-esque Penko Park was good. Like Snap it's on-rails and has a wide variety of... things to take photos of. It's got horror elements to it, too, so that fits in with all the survival horror.
Now I'm playing Life Is Strange 2 and Humankind. Will I make another post to say what I think of them? Will anyone read all these words I've written? Regardless, it's good to type something longer than replies to messages.
Buenas noches.
