I was about to buy a vita, however since the game library is very small and weak. I couldn't justify buying it. 3DS has solid library but most of the games don't interest me.

The fact they have still not announced a release date for the Xbox One, should we be worried that there is something they are not telling us? I know there is still 4 days left of Gamescom so they might announce something then. Or do you think they were playing it safe and waiting for Sony to announce it first just so they can release it before. It is odd that the console is only 2-3 months from launch and we do not have a solid date.

release date will be the first week of Nov. Microsoft always release around that time. So ......like Nov 6
One day this will one of those things you look back on and wonder, " What the hell was i thinking".

why?
PS4 is much easier to devlop for. No devs are complaining about it like they did with PS3.

you sure about that? Devs will say anything to gain favor with a potenial audience. I'm going by Sony's track record.
Yes you heard correctly, I changed my pre-order from PS4 to Xbox One. I even wrote a whole blog about it. lol I'm really happy with my decision. Anyone else changed there preorder to xbox or verse versa?
I'm really reconsidering my pre order for sony and might change to xbox one because Xbone is overall the better system. or I might pick up both on day one.
what are you talking about?Honestly? The one looks like a VCR player without any personality. It's just black and silver, evoking a heavy industrial feel. Thats okay if i'm looking for a professionally functional product, but this is for my personal entertainment center.
I want something that has a bit more personality than that, that can compliment me more. The slanted look provides a better look from multiple angles, and the blue light compliments the console with a stylish light strip that lets you know its functioning. And because it's for my personal use in my personal space, i'd prefer something a little smaller that takes up less space. As someone who has more space than others, it isn't such a big deal. But for the majority who may or may not, a smaller piece of equipment is just more considerate.

I'm really excited about AC4, however after I heard Ubisoft is breaking up the AC4 into parts. I'm reconsidering getting it at release and waiting till the release AC4 complete edition. Is this a good move? Is anyone else thinking the same thing?

Honestly, if I were MS I wouldn't have backpedalled. I would have explained the value of the system to the customers better. If there was no value in the system - then that's an inherent problem. Consumers won't buy things that are weak value, at least not in the same volume as things which are better value.
Despite having looked into their proposed methods thoroughly, I didn't know ALL the ins and outs of their system - however, discs have pros and cons, Steam has different pros and cons, this system would have had different pros (family sharing etc) and cons (can only give game once to 30+day XBL friend etc) again.
I don't understand why people had to have a big whine. Just don't buy it. If the PS4 was already your console of choice - then surely this changes nothing. Now what's happened is MS has changed their approach. So MS, how has your recently modified approach affected your pre orders? Any improvement from an 8 to 1 outselling by the PS4? I didn't think so.
The problem as I see it, was Microsoft failed to provide any information about their products which properly explained any benefits. Percech's thread does a far superior job, MSXBOX4EVER even had a crack at an explanation. Moving forward, we can never learn if it was ever going to be a good service or not.
I will leave you with this thought, back in the day when I installed Half-Life 2 from 5 CDs, I was forced to install Steam and activate online - I wasn't particularly happy about this. However, Steam is now very valuable to me. I'm not suggesting that MS' infrastructure was a guarenteed winner - no way. However, sometimes new things are exciting, even if they fail, and a failure here would have no real impact on my life anyway, as failure would indicate it's an inferior product, and when it comes to gaming there is so much choice available that I've only got time for quality anyway.
