After reading IGN's review on Grand Slam Tennis I was really excited and just about ready to buy it. However, soon after I found out that Virtua Tennis 2009, came out the day after. I was looking for reviews for Virtua Tennis 2009 looking to see which was the better tennis game, but there are next to no reviewsfor VT. If by any chance anybody has played both, what's your opinion on which one is better.
That's what I don't like in reviewers. Most people who are just looking for input will just skim through a list of reviews. People will think that the Diamond or Pearl is better when this is an obvious improvement! I understand where reviewers are coming from, but they should keep a fresher mindset.

While it is true that most people just skim through the reviews, I think that platinum deserves the score it got because people expect a certain amount of improvements from a sequel. What they should do to avoid the confusion you mentioned is say something in the "the good" box to assure people that this is an improvement. Certainly, what most people look at when they read reviews is "the good" and "the bad" boxes.
Hi, I've been wanting to buy a second controller but the price tag of 55 dollars is a bit steep. I've been thinking of buying some third party controllers but all of the third party controllers I have ever bought have been horrible. So, I was wondering, is there any good, cheaper, PS3 controller? I'm not sure If this belongs here or not but I didn't want to start a new thread, and after all, I am asking for a recommendation.
hmmmm...I can't believe no one here has mentioned this yet. While alot of what the people here have said is true, most games don't have graphics like Galaxy because they don't want to have graphics like Galaxy. Take Super Paper Mario for example, the goal of the developers was to make a world with a papery look, they did not want Galaxy graphics they wanted Super Paper Mario graphics.
Hmmm... I'm not sure if this belongs here but I am asking for a recommendation... Anyways, so far on my Club Nintendo account I have 500 coins, after Christmas I should have 600 or more. Right now I'm contemplating on whether to get one of the "Nintendo DS Game Card and Stylus Set" (holds 9 DS games and has 7 styli) right after christmas or wait until I have enough coins to get the Game and Watch game. Here's my situation... I lost the box to several of my DS games and frequently lose my stylus, on top of that it says that those are limited edition. On the other hand the Game & Watch collection looks so cool.
