IMO For Multiplayer games, there is no need to concentrate on graphics, Basic graphics is the best options (ex: counterstrike),

'cause people think more of killing opposite members rather than graphics around us........

But for campaign as a single player,, we will look more intoGraphics, humor between team members, and intelligent tactics....

which BFBC 2,BF3,etc..... succeeded,

for straight killing, I personally opt for crysis,MW3,etc.....

ronvalencia

this is the specifications from asus site, please help (i haven't found the slot what your are saying :( ) http://www.asus.com/Notebooks/Versatile_Performance/K42JA/#specifications

From the supplied ASUS link, it doesn't indicate any MXM slot. You may need locate a repair manual for Asus K42JA

My current laptop's GPU is soldieredon the main motherboard i.e. I have dismantled it to install 3G card (mini-PCI-E X1)..

soldiered! great in india we only use what we got, we don't have tech experts in our city to do soldiering & that kind of stuff. instead we buy new laptop from the previous site. what i've got is it has only MMC and SD slot.......... anyway which chipset is higher PM55 or HM55?

thanks for your reply,

what i've asked is, if there is any future Mobility gpu upgrade version something like 7XXX or any much higher end, can i remove my existing 5730 card and replace it with another 7xxxx version card (i am not talking about desktop external card, talking about mobility supported cards)

Hi all,

I've got ATI RAEDON mobility 5730 2 GB vram with my laptop,

and my question is can i update the gpu much higher level (for example: something like 6530 or so) in my existing laptop with out buying the new one.

please help..........

ronvalencia

Rename info

The AMD Radeon HD 6570M (or ATI Mobility Radeon HD 6570) is a renamed version of the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730, 5750, or 5770 with support for GDDR5.

5750 and 5770 already has GDDR5 support. 6500M has additional HDMI 1.4a support. 5730M/5770M/6570M's GPU clock speed is around 650Mhz which yields around 520 GigaFLOPS.

6570M has base memory speed around 900Mhz while 5730M has based memory speed around 800Mhz.

Asus K42JAdoesn't have ExpressCard slot hence you don't have an easy way to add an external graphics card.

Ok good initiative, but I don't know whether our processor cycles will be useful for really curing those diseases or for simply taking care of others personal mischeifs...................

do you have any proofs or updates regarding this.......
