its a hard decision beacuse both games you mentioned are good. iveplayed both games already but when it comes down to it i would choose monster hunter 2. reason is beacuse you can create your own charecter and make him look better with the clothes you get from hunting monsters, plus the armor makes you stronger and also you get to create your own weapons from bows to shield and swords and giant swords and much more. but its your decision.
