Hey guys, some time for initial thoughts on Fortune Summoners: Secret of the Elemental Stone. WOW, do I love this game. I believe it recieved a 60 on meta critic, which I can certainly understand. There are some bad parts to this game, but it has found a way into my heart. The combat system is hard, but chellenging and I believe it is fair. Your AI companions are really smart and are a HUGE help. They do way more damage then I do and without them I'm not sure if I would be able to beat this game. The story is where this game stands out, it is just so heart warming. Who knew playing as elementary girls going on adventures could be so fun! It's a action RPG with everything I would expect, lots of combat, dungeons, good story, magic, monsters, 2D, and items to be collected. The combat is fun and chellenging, the story is great, the characters possess a lot of charm, and it's a world worth exploring. I'll just tell the beginning of the story, it's about a girl named Arche who arrives at a new town and attends a new school of magic. However, she needs an elemental stone to do magic and her family can't afford one. So she decides to go on adventues with her friends in order to aqquire a elemental stone. Since the characters are so young, they don't say any cuss words, instead they say things such as "jerk face". The one biggist complaint I have is it's hard to find out where to go. The game tries to do a note system, but it is still hard becuase there aren't enough notes and no world map. Sometimes the player just ahs to talk to every single person, sometimes the same person twice or go wander the map for a while. Going to each town wouldn't be a problem if the combat wasn't so chellenging, having to fight through monsters is no easy task, and when I had no idea where to go, going from town to town was harder then it should have been. However, the postives out weigh the negatives and I very much look foward to go on more adventures with Arche and her friends.
Bye Bye
