@leon00x: Exactly right. Gamespot and IGN push certain titles by over hyping them, and try to keep sales low with certain other titles, mostly Japanese ones. When a Japanese game mimics Western gameplay, they praise it to the moon.
You guys watch, when FFXV comes out it'll get 9's and10's on Gamespot and IGN. It's been described as the FF for dudebros. I'm sure they'll love it.
@Sound_Demon: We both know they are opinions, but some hold them sacred for some odd reason. I still don't see why she scores the game lower than the average because SHE thinks it's unfulfilling.
The quality is there, the polish is there, the mechanics are there. This is not a 6 game, and most of the other reviewers agree with me, that it's a 8 or 9.
IGN and Gamespot have agendas, and have been against Japanese games since gen 6, when Western games started becoming popular on consoles. It's like they are involved in the advertising industry for American and European studios.
@SpiderLuke: Because she's reviewing it based on her preferences, and not objectively. You wouldn't like it if I reviewed a good Bleach game and said "I'm not a fan of the series, so 5/10.".
