@skyhighgam3r: you just don't appreciate the benefit if you don't buy games at launch. I rarely want games at launch price but Fire emblem was one of them, and I don't regret that game one bit.

The best way to optimize this kind of deal is buying the $50 eshop gift cards at Costco (you can do that online) for $45 each. So you'd be essentially spending $90 on $100 credit to buy the vouchers that will afford you two $60 titles at launch. Or in simpler math, save $15 bucks per title.

I was disappointed when there was no program for exchanging PSP games for downloading on the Vita.. Sure I still have my PSP, but I don't go through the trouble of digging it out to recharge it just to play an old game. I can see this sentiment brewing ahead for the PS3 and PS4, especially since these are large consoles and would probably be stored in boxes somewhere too annoying to dig out when there's just that one game I want to play.

I got my Vita and 3DS at near-launch. I've only 3 games on my 3DS, while I have 6 on the Vita. Sony's issue is and always has been their marketing strategies, as evidenced by their PSP Go.
