What facts are these exactly?

Best library. Best games. Most features. Best value for money. Best hardware quality to power ratio. I could go on.

You have maybe (and that's being used very loosely), one legitimate argument there. Otherwise, it's all your opinion and proves nothing still.

I tend to disagree.

It's not. However, facts are always more objective than opinions.charizard1605

Does it matter? They make the best consoles on the market, and they make some of the best games.

charizard1605

360 and DS are both far superior to their products imo

I said CONSOLES. The DS (and the PSP, which I assume you were comparing it to) aren't consoles, they are handhelds. And no. The 360 is NOT superior to the PS3. The PS3 is the best console on the market, PERIOD. Just like the PS2 was the best console of its time. There are no questions about this. Your personal preferences may lie with the Xbox, but objectively, the PS3 is the best. End of discussion.

How is your opinion any more objective than his exactly?

Why would anyone invest in the 4gb?

driftingsilvia

I got the 4gb/Kinect bundle on Black Friday for $199.99 and got a bonus $50 Amazon gift card. Also got Madden 12, an extra controller and the official 250gb hdd. In total it cost around $350 after taxes and such. Not a bad deal if you ask me.

So I'm getting either a PS3 or 360 in a few days and was hoping to get some input on which one to get. I haven't had a console this gen so I'm kind of late to the game. My brother has a 360 so I've only played on a 360 up until this point. I prefer console gaming to PC gaming so I'm hoping not to get into that whole debate.

I'm a sports game guy. Like Madden & NBA 2k series type of games.

Enjoy playing open world stuff like GTA.

Never really got into the whole FPS thing but that's probably because I haven't played any of the stuff from this gen. It's something I'd like to get into.

Basically, I'd be playing sports, action/adventure, and possibly getting into FPS/Shooter type games if I can find the time.

I know that multiplats have generally looked and played better on the 360. Is that still the case? I'd mostly be playing multiplats.

I'm really intrigued by the Uncharted series. Those games alone are really making me consider the PS3. However, the few exclusive titles I'd get for the PS3 are cancelled out by the multiplats that play better on the 360.

More of my friends own the 360 so if I did get into playing online, there is an advantage there. PS3 offers free online play, however I don't know how it compares to the experience you get on the 360 these days. The fact that it's free is a plus though. Also, I like the way the 360 controller feels in my hands. I like the bulk of it for me and the placement of the triggers. I've yet to hold a DS3 in my hands so I can't really compare but I didn't mind the PS2 controller really.

I owned a PS2 and Xbox last gen if it matters. Did most of my gaming on the PS2 but also enjoyed the Xbox.

I'm well aware that I'm super late getting a system however, I'm pretty excited to get back into console gaming as I've missed how fun it was last gen. I think this time around I'm going to be more open to playing new games and different genres which is why I want to make the right choice. I'm only getting one so both is not an option at this time unfortunately.

Well, you bought 4 of them so that's how they're selling so well. Sales go up when people continue to buy the product.
