Check this out. It is the best deal I have seen for ps3
I know this question has been asked a thousand times, but I just want to ask it with my own reasoning. I would just like some neutral input. First of all I am currently a PS2 owner and a huge fan of the final fantasy series. This christmas I am planning on purchasing either a PS3 or a Xbox 360. I figure they will probably run me about the same amount of money because I would buy the wireless adapter for the 360. I see my options are as follows. I buy a 360 and at least I still own ps2. I know they claim they will continue to develop for the Ps2 so that might work out.
The pros to this set up would be, I don't have to wait for good games to come out. (Although I do enjoy the RC games) The Online play is much more established. Also the US install base is much better.
The pros to buying a PS3 are, FF13 eventually, free online (but how functional is it really and will home ever really pan out), and a free wireless adapter.
I guess in the end I have always been loyal to sony but as of right now I am exactly in the middle. Will mass effect compare with ff13 and will the ps3 install base be able to catch up? Money wise I believe ps3 might be a little cheaper ( after buying the adapter and live), but I am just worried that since the US install base is so much smaller the the 360, developers are not going to put as much time into producing games for the PS3. Please help me not regret my decision this christmas.
