I am playing DirT with xbox360 wire controller for windows and I like it very much :) It's absolutely compatible (DiRT recognizes the controller as "Xbox360 Controller") and its fun to play. I cant say if its better with controller or a keyboard because I am not a big fan of racing games, but I will deffinetely continue to play with the controller...
I want to see what will happen to Half-Life 2 Episode 2 and Portal. HL2 EP2 is a great game, a little short, and not that difficult. It didnt present anything new but its a great game after all - kind of like BioShock. Do you think HL2 EP2 hype (if there is any) will where off too like it did with BioShock? And what about Portal? Yes - its innovative and interesting but how much will you play it after you finish the singleplayer achievments? Well, you can import new levels (there arent any map packs though)... Anyway, what do you think about the comparison - BioShock and HL2 EP2 & Portal?
Here in Bulgaria, some games are really expensive. 100$ for Bioshock (xbox360) and DiRT? And tha avarage income is like 300-400$ per mounth... Well thats why I am a pirate :)
I suppose that 9.5 is a good rating if you think the only console in the world is xbox360 and the PC doesnt exist... The editors are giving it a high rating in comparison only to other xbox360 games. Thats what I think...
When I was 7 or 8 years old, I played Doom 2 and Alone in the Dark 1-2. After that I had nightmares until I turned 13... Now I am 18, and almost every game that is supposed to be scary, scares me :)
Can you you suggest me some games that are good for a 6-12 hours of marathon gaming. I want to sit with a friend and play or beat a game in that amount of time. Something like BioShock, Half Life 1, Jazz Jack Rabbit, Lost Vikings. Those are the game that I think are good for "marathoning" :) . Thank you in advance!
P.S. I have a C2D 6400, 1GB 800Mhz Ram, GF8800GTS 640, and Windows Vista. I think only Vista will be the problem because I like playing old games too. I preffer retro games...
