@TimeFrame I'm not trying to detract away from his studio's achievements in a general sense. What I am challenging is this idea that somehow Epic is the catalyst for progress in the hardware market, or, conversely, that Epic couldn't do what it wanted to do in the past or present due to hardware limitations of the time. That's the ridiculous assertion which is essentially self-aggrandizement.
Sounds like self-aggrandizement from Epic, as if that company has ever produced software that compelled further innovation in the hardware market. Hardware progresses quickly enough on its own without being pushed by Epic. If Bleszinski is serious, and I doubt he is, he needs to get over himself and his company.
