Hi! I played the original for the first time on the plain old original nintendo system that I STILL OWN. Both the game and the system. Both are in working order. The scattered remains of the booklet that came with it have long been lost in a box I probably still have, but I have moved 38 times since I was brought into the world. I'll be 39 in about three weeks, so that's nearly one move per year average. I didn't hear about it from anyone. I'd been playing D&D since I was 9, so it simply looked good. It was a blast. I've been hooked ever since. My avatar is a tribute to the first game series that I became a slave to. I have always considered the dark mage(?) to be the cutest of the original characters. I have played it from beginning to end again as recently as 4 years ago. It's purely for nostalgia of course. Take care everybody!
