I would use large hi-res bmps for all graphics, including a screen wide background bmp. Use as many frames as possible, nested, and center all text. People like high-contrast like black on yellow or even better, solid blue text on a red background. Remove all scroll bars as they are useless and disable resizing of windows. Oh and make sure you embed a media player to play a looped sample like a dog barking or a heavy metal song.

As far as content goes I would focus on a rant blog or maybe a movie review section.

Well, I used my website to post my photoshop creations, but it was shut down a short time ago. You could put some pictures and wallpapers there, some drawings... There's nothing else to do really... I would suggest doing something more creative like making music with a free software and posting it on mp3.com (which is part of gamespot). That's what I did, click here to hear my tracks. They're not very good but I had fun making them.

My dell inspiron 1300. Although working for me well these past few years is running on its last legs the screens cracked, wireless is broken and the mouse touch pad is broken.

computer Gaming is a hobby of mine so i was wondering where i might look and what type of laptops i am looking for that can run so fairly demanding games such as c&c3 and supreme commander depending if its possible. i haven t diceded on a budget yet i was just going to get a rough idea on how much this is looking to cost.

dispight the obvious advantages with desktop gaming i move around alot and portabillity is a real nessecity apart from that i am not bothered about screen size etc.. only gaming capability.
