What is Goozex, you ask? Well, if you've ever considered the idea that getting something more reasonable than half the price or (horribly) less for your new and old games, then you're a gamer that's smart.
That's not some marketing ploy/nice comment (i like you too though :P). You see, we're alike. I'm also a gamer. If you've ever had to go to a store like Gamestop and shove in your games sadly and willingly for half-price, lower, or the lowest of low: the common and dreaded $1-$5 price mark for your dust-collecting games, then you were fooled like I was.
It's not just me though. When you get on Goozex for the first time with your free 100 points and free trade credit and request your free 100 point game (and there's just a HUGE boatload to choose from), you'll see that it actually works. This way, before even committing yourself to the service, you can try out Goozex and getting and trading games without even paying first. I never realized that trading would work out so well, myself!
Getting back to our perspective as gamers, we want our games sold for reasonable prices. The deal? You get points for trading in and more when you invite friends. Even if you purchase a game with these points, you can send it back in whatever order form you like: Full Package, Disc with Manual, and even the disc by itself. And can still get the points back.
One can only imagine the benefit that this brings. If you have older psx games like Final Fantasy 7, you can trade it in for a brand new 1000 point game that would be xbox 360 game or ps3 or wii. Heck, you can get any game you want with 1000 points. If you got some lame new game that you hyped for so much, but were distraught and disappointed with it, then you should get your money's worth right on back. But other choices are hard: auctioning sites like ebay have bidders who want their games for dirt cheap. Furthermore, the process of sending games and receving games on ebay is much more complex than Goozex. For Goozex, you only have to have your street address on your profile (this is kept only public for the buyer/seller and no one else, and of course this makes sense because how else can they send you your game?. And again, stores like Gamestop want you to send in your games for crap prices so they can put it right back on the shelf and drive the price way higher.
But, hey, I don't want to spoil the fun for ya, so if you want to start this brand new gaming adventure yourself, then feel free to look up the site for more details on what the whole game trading deal is all about. You can take more than my word for it by seeing how many people have joined Goozex--and it doesn't stop there. Players are joining Goozex each and every day, in the same way you are right now, reading this message
And finally, here is the link you will need to check it out for yourself, because we gamers deserve to get back for what we bought if it's in playable condition. That's something I stand by and I hope everyone gets what they want at the prices they should get.
Once again, if you're that person that's fed up with what you've been getting for your sold games, or want to empty a lot of your dusty game space, then bring on the rain.
