@kristijan108: You should be fine, but I'd check can I run it
Probably be bale to tame the graphics down to Fallout 3/ New Vegas level I should think

@XIntoTheBlue:
Ultima came out in 1981
Elite in 1984
So ima say that it was Ultima that first got the idea of free roam and open world in peoples heads and Elite which sent it all into a craze.
Fallout 3/ New Vegas
Oblivion and Skyrim
Far Cry 1/ 2/ 3
Saints Row 1/ 2
Dead Island/ Riptide
The Saboteur
Infamous 1/ 2
Fable
Need I go on?
@georgebouie: Never heard of them
@Jacanuk: lol
So I've been thinking lately, and I got to say, Skyrim was never that fun to me.
The game I started with in that series was Oblivion which I still play to this day, but Skyrim? I recently beat every mission in it (again) with DLC included and well...it was just a bore.
Sure you can mod but what makes Skyrim so much better then Oblivion? The graphics? They weren't great, the gameplay? Sure combat was better but seriously Oblivion was the game that grabbed me and the game I still play hours on end.
I think for me the issues always been the quest lines. In Skyrim I beat every quest easily, and I'm not forgetting them anytime soon. That's what took the fun out of it for me, but in Oblivion you unlock quests as you go along and it just feels like a better game.
Anywho I wanted to know you opinion, all the way down to the nitty gritty of what you think of Skyrim!
The Division
Tamriel Unlimited
and then
Star Wars Battle Front
So I have an extensive list of games but I'll go with the FPS/ TPS since I've seen you talking about COD in this thread.
- Spec Ops: The Line: Though short in gameplay (At least to me) the game itself is a TPS with an amazing story and gripping gameplay
- Fistful of Frags: a simple free to play steam game with simple graphics and simple mechanics but extremly fun all the same. Kinda like COD with western style guns
- Battlefield: Really a more realistic and bigger COD, just as much fun (in my opinion)
- Rage: FPS / Driving game set in the apocalyptic future where a meteorite hit the Earth. great gameplay and of course it was made by Bethesda, so you know it's gonna be good
- Dishonored: More RPG then FPS but still a beautiful game with good graphics storyline, etc. (Made by bethesda :P don't know if you can play it on your PC to be honest)
- Team Fortress 2: You like COD? You should like this game (I don't) pretty interesting to play but I don't really know how to describe it
- Battlecry: not out yet but to be released soon, imagine Team Fortress 2 Bethesda style...in other words there aren't any guns
- Fallout series: More RPG but great FPS games, made by Bethesda they detail an apocalyptic world and your characters adventures throughout it. Fallout 1 & 2 are top down RPG styled so I'd recommend 3, New Vegas, or 4 when it comes out.
- Zombies, Monsters and Robots: A good, free, TPS with PVE, PVP and then some. Gamemodes include Mech battles, survival storylines and yes...you can go PVP being a gigantic zombie that barfs on people...otherwise it's an ok shooter but they make you play PVE to unlock PVP weapons, outfits, etc.
- State of Decay: Put this here cause why not, TPS, survival, sandbox (kinda) different storylines and pretty much every game is different
- Left 4 Dead 1 & 2: Online FPS shoot em up zombie killing game
I think I got more, but these are the ones off the top of my head. Hoped I helped!
@Cloud_imperium: All stalkers beaten, along with FEAR, and Thief
Not really interested nor have ever been interested in Half Life/ Portal
Not really interested in Max Payne to be honest or those other older games either
And for Shadow Warrior I've already downloaded and beaten it
@acp_45: Ah ok
