Yeah I have both also..I compared both side by side and the Xbox One version plays and looks better in every way possible..I think the differences are much more apparent when you have both right in front of you versus watching this video comparison.

Whether its on PS4 or Xbox One the game looks the same..its funny cuz there are games you'll see clear differences between the two console's..but this isn't one of them..and since that's the case all the people playing on PS4 are b**thurt about their console not looking"40%" better on this one...so keep telling yourself that..hope it makes you feel better..but besides gamma..it looks the same..deal with it.
YOU JUST DON'T GET IT- Bungie had the Xbox one version at 900p so it could retain the same amount of detail that the PS4 version has...that 10% bump gained them enough processing power to bump it to 1080p while keeping the same amount of detail..if what your saying were true they would have kept it at a lower res to keep the graphical detail the same between the two console's..we've already seen this across the board with previous games.
Yes the resolution bump from 900p to 1080p is highly due to the extra 10% GPU power..bungie isn't dumb enough to make a game look superior on one console to another..why would they alienate people on diff platforms..its a multiplat
You seem to be the only person on here who sees this large of a difference between the 2..im sorry for assuming tho..like i said your one of the only people to state that they see this big of a difference..I know there will be small differences in anti-aliasing, screen tearing, and possibly frame rates..but these will be very slight if anything at all..but the textures are the same on both consoles
The biggest difference in this comparison is the resolution which is already confirmed 1080p on Xbox One and PS4 at launch..there's also video of 1080p gameplay on Xbox One online..and the other big difference is the gamma..the Xbox one has way more contrast..this is something that has been present on Xbox 360 also..this will cause dark scenes to look less detailed in some cases..but its nothing to write home about.
The only thing you'll gain from playing it on PS4 is is the extra timed DLC content that come with the PS4...nothing more
Besides resolution..no they look the same...and for you to say any different points to the obvious.. Your a Sony fanboy..and if you do a bit of research or read a few comments below you'll find that the Xbox One version will be 1080p at release..yes the beta is 900p on Xbox One. But come release they will be exactly the same...which is a good thing for everyone.
