Baldurs gate 2

never played a game that came close to it. But I cant say if its the story itself or how the story and everything else comes together in the game. Masterpiece

1. Baldurs Gate II - Still to this day the best rpg I have ever played.

2. Diablo II

3. One Must Fall 2097

4. Transport Tycoon

5. Crusader No Remorse

Sadly for me the new games just dont have the magic like the old ones.

Transport Tycoon is still today a great game with alot of depth. A remake in full 3D would be awesome.

yep, he said they werent bringing gears2 to the pc for 2 reasons - 1. because of high piracy rates (yet gears didnt even feature in the top ten most pirated pc games in the next 12 months after it was released). anyone savvy enough to buy the latest video card is also savvy enough to know how to use bit torrent, he said.

and 2. the difficulty epic have in making a game work for multiple configurations of pc hardware.

both seem like weak excuses tbh, shame because i really liked gears 2 and would love to see it on pc

wasnt epic in that pc gamin alliance or what it was called. i know there were a bit pissed at companies like intel labeling there on-board crap graphic cards

"gaming" cards. basicly making people believe that the hardware could handle the newest games.

i can understand that its a problem for pc developers. the majority of gamers dont have high end rigs that can run games like doom3 (best example),

sup com or crysis when these games come out. and certainly not crappy console ports.

then again u have exeptions like the last remnant that has huge issues on the console but runs just fine on my laptop ^^

gotta go with duke3d or doom bc of the amount of content alone.

have to agree here. if we are talking about "normal" RPGs than blizzard shouldnt be on the list bc they focus on their hybrid action/rpg, rts/rpg and mmorpg

no body should be offended by taking them off the list.

anyway put Origin for the Ultima series on there.

i know how you feel diablo 3 is the only game i really cant wait for. maybe biowares the old republic but the mmo scene is so full of ignorant fanboys its just disgusting...
