Devil Summoner (PS2)
Was looking for this one for awhile.
Also Read dead Redemption for GOTY....Really?????
Kinda wierd for GS, considering Demons Souls won last year . Oh well, at least it wasn't Call of Duty.

Score for this Week:
Legacy of Y's Books I & II (DS)
Persona 3 Portable (PSP)
Pretty fun overall. Challenging gameplay on P3P, but fair.
Happy Turkey Day everyone. Can't really say mine is all too great; I couldn't go home and I made myself into a Pariah as a result of it. Oh well, its not that I didn't want to go home it just that I didn't have money or means. I have my car, but I don't want to risk it breaking down on the highway. It's a good drive so I take a risk in doing so. Nonetheless, hopefully I will be ahem, forgiving...

I haven't bought a new Wii game in awhile. Part of it has to do with I haven't touched some games for it: I haven't played through Zack and Wiki, Metroid Prime 3, Super Paper Mario and Smash Bros. I want to play through these games, but I got sidetracked. On top of that is the lack of releases on the Wii. I really want to get myself a copy of Mario Kart Wii, but aside from that, I can't think of much else. Sure, Wario Land and De Blob look awesome, but I don't see myself paying 50 bucks for those games ( To be fair, I don't see paying 60 dollars for a good majority of PS3 or XBOX 360 games as worth it either). Still, there are rather niche games on the Wii, so I intend to pick up those. Not sure what else Nintendo has up their sleeve, so we shall see. However, I will say that I am big fan of their Virtual Console service. Aside from that, hopefulyl they can get some great new titles ready for 2009.
Thought I would update my gamespot thing since I haven't in a while...

I moved and now working for the time being. This gives me some money to live with and spend. It's not the most glamorous job but it pays. Moving was a pain but its done. We just got to settle some bills...
Gaming wise, I was able to pick up a good number of games. I added Resistance 2 and Rock Band 2 (along with the AC/DC track pack) to my PS 3 collection, along with with Gears of War 2 for my 360. On the DS, I secured Pokemon Pearl and Casltevania order of Eclesia. All Awesome. I like Rock Band 2 quite a bit, but that song Visions annoys me. Difficult songs don't bother me, but songs like this just annoy me since they are difficult and pointless. Oh well, just got to get better.
Â
Not sure what else to pick up. I am pretty broke for now, but I am eyeing Guitar Hero World Tour and ( I want to talk about that later) and Fable 2. Call of Duty looks cool but I don't feel like paying 60 dollars for what is essentially a Cod 4 WW 2 mod. I am sure it is a good, but Activision's fickle nature with this series is starting to annoy me.
Â
Other than that, not much else. If anyone reads this and is interested in playing Rock Band 2 on the PS3, drop me a line on the PSN network. My user name is Kyuss015. I like to play with people. On topic, I want to get better at the drums, though I don't like having shoddy hardware...
Kinda crazy to see your old friends moving forward. You feel wierd looking at them and feel that you didnt move forward yourself. But then, you realize you did. You completed grad school or you got a killer job. You have your own set of cool friends. Youre in a new location. Dare I say it, you met that someone (!? me too !?). I guess it come with getting older. I guess the only thigns that remain constant are your parents... But yeah, getting older is wierd. Its not bad or anyhting its just wierd.
I mean I am moving in a couple of weeks and it feels. weird. Another chapter of life. Pretty scary, but cool. ... I look forward to it, as that is the only one cand do. Reliving the past is bad for you. You shouldn't do it at all. But yeah, all we can do is move forward and accept things as they go... I miss my mom an dad..
I hate being broke. You can't do anything without money. If one thing I miss about not having money, is the freedom to do what you want and when you want. That, and missing out on Fall gaming. I hope that I get some income going soon so that I can pick up this years's Fall releases:
Castlevania Order of Eclesia (DS)
Gears of War 2 (Xbox 360)
Resistance 2 (PS3)
Fable 2 (Xbox 360)
Rock Band 2 (PS3)
Persona 4 (PS2)
Chrono Trigger DS
I also want to get some of last year's hits like Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed. Oh well, hopefully I will get a job soon. At least I have my huge backlog of unfinished games to tide me over.
