The Witcher Enhanced Edition

Well I just finished playing through the Enhanced Edition and yes, I know its been like 3 years since my last post. So anyway, the game is still freakin awesome. Everything loads much faster, animations are better and glitches have been fixed. They pretty much redid all the voice acting and now it makes sense. So the game is amazing, mature, and worth playing.

The Witcher

I just beat the witcher. Wow. That is all.

The game is 50 to 60 hours long, and I never got bored the entire time. Never. I was riveted by the story. Ppl complain about the combat but I didnt care. The signs were awesome, the different styles were awesome, the game was awesome. Wonderful art direction and design, wonderful story telling. Not the most technically stable, I had around a dozen crashes through the whole game, and not the fastest loading. My load times were about 60 seconds, which dosnt seem too bad but when you have to load every time you enter a building, new area, etc it stacks up. Thats my only complaint is the loading times. Apparently Project Red hasnt heard of RAM since they purge it upon area load every time so nothing stays in RAM for faster loading. sigh. And a note for the kiddies, this game has boobs...lots of them. I have the european version so its uncensored and there are quite a bit of them. The US version isnt so bad, but you can still have sex with literally almost every female NPC in the game. I think I had sex with around 30 girls by the end of the game....so. Anyway, the story is outstanding and I recommend it. Geralt will make you his boy!

SupCom: Forged Alliance

I just want to say that Forged alliance is a ton better than the original Supreme Commander. The new units are nice but not ground breaking, the new faction is nice but not ground breaking and there are several new features and balances that are new but not ground breaking. Then why is it better? Because of how everything comes together to make the total package. The amount of base automation is awesome, and the way they fixed units moving in formation is awesome too. My only gripe is nukes are pretty much gone. It literally takes about 15 minutes in game to build the LAUNCHER(!) if you have your commander and 5 support coms building it. Then it takes at least that long again to build a nuke with all of those guys still assisting. Seeing as the UEF commander can build the Mavor exp artillery in 34 minutes by himself, when it can fire over and over again...come on. Mavor = Game Over, Nukes=Waste of Time. One other thing I noted, it seemed to me that i had a hard time getting a lot of metal in this game, but maybe I was just building too much.

too much time

I just beat Medal of Honor Airborne in less than 2 days, Company of heroes opposing fronts (both campaigns) in 3 days, COD4 in one day cuz its super short, and World in Conflict in within 24 hours. I just beat Gears of War on PC in under two days. And I beat Crysis within 24 hours.

I must step back and ask myself...is this excessive?

edit: single player campaigns that is. I have also logged many an hour in WiC and Coh Multi.

well i just finished gears of war on pc

is it bad that i really liked the chainsaw bayonet in gears of war? cuz most of the time i didnt even shoot i just ran full force in hopes that gibs would fill the screen. sigh...

well im bout to play crysis. It doesnt have the chainsaw, but it does have alot of other cool stuff.

neverwinter nights 2

I just beat neverwinter nights 2 today. It was one of the longer RPGs that I remember playing in recent years. Im gonna guess it took me 60 hrs maybe. NWN 1 took about that long too, but for some reason I didnt like it as much as 2. I dont know why but I liked this game a whole lot. The ending was so so it just kinda ended, but I liked the influence system. I played through as a wood elf ranger archer specialist. Once I got the Black Archer Bow from Port Llast with Blessed of Waukeen, it was pretty much over cuz I owned. It got to where I could fire about 6 arrows per round with full attack bonus as compared to the other archers 1. lol. Anyway its done and a new chapter of my life can begin. Now on to Overlord, BioShock, Combat Mission Anthology, GRAW2, and if I have time, possibly another run through of fable, prey, and a continuance of Diablo2. Dude I better get started.

scratch

scratch that last update. ive now beaten ghost recon: AW. So im a little bit in to FSW:TH now. after that i just dont know what im gonna do. maybe play some prince of persia or something. I seriously want goldeneye on the pc....

so yeah...

I just beat oblivion yesterday. I played it for 2 weeks solid. and i mean solid. probably about 80 hours worth. I finished a huge number of sidequests as well as getting to level 18 i think. I know I am far from discovering everything the game has to offer but im taking a break. a break to play ghost recon: AW. Ill play that since I beat Tomb Raider legend in 2 days of light play, and i dont wanna play 10 hammers. I went back and beat FEAR, Far Cry, Star Wars empire at war, LOTR bFME 2, C&C Generals and zero hour, swat 4 and the stectchkov syndicate and Diablo 2. My best friend and I calculated how many hours of video games I had played when I graduated high school. 4 years ago it was approx 6720 hours. thats 280 days worth. since ive been in college i bet that number is closer to 10,000 hours. scary.

believe it or not

You thought i was gonna put, "im walking on air." but i didnt. believe it or not, I am so sick that I dont even want to play video games. there....i said it. I have been sick for 4 days straight, bad sick, and i cant bring myself to play more than a few minutes of video games. I am in the room by myself all day. And i still dont play them. Please sombody help me.
