I see as a competitive nature that we all have and these games pretty much feed it to us in terms of online play.

I can see what you mean, it's the concept of skill that you are trying to get at right? Yeah, a lot of people who use him are not that good; however, a select few (aka veterans or dedicated newcomers) can use him in a fair manner (not spamming moves)

what about gears 2?SmokeyMcMuffin

Dude, that game is easily overrated..I agree with the tc on this one. I played the game 3 times through (my friends tend to choose me when they wanted to play Gears 2 co-op) and every time I played it, I realized how mundane the gameplay is. I mean come on, if you have a sequel, have it do something different thats a step up of its predecessor. It felt like I was playing the original Gears of War.

I'm just going to say that I would be labled a cow since I only own a PS3. My bro owns a 360 and my decision for a PS3 was MGS4 (best game I have ever played) and FFXIII. This really puts a damper on things considering that my decision was researched in a mislead direction. I heard about this rumor though a while ago and I just thought "what if?" I guess I now know the "what if?" of it all. It stinks, but I guess business is business... :(

This forum first of all, is asking to get roasted by lemmings. Secondly, what I can say is that I admit your points have some truth to it, but it doesn't mean that Halo 3 should be docked because of it. The multiplayer is solid and that's pretty much what got it the score it did.

I'm going to make this as clear as possible:

Killzone 2 is an 1st person shooter while Gears of War 2 is a 3rd person shooter.

There's nothing to beat being that they are two different types of shooter games. I'd like to know though what you think will beat Gears of War 2 for.

[QUOTE="IGN"]Visually, Metal Gear Solid 4 is even more striking on the console than it has been in released trailers. We always had a sense that what Kojima was showing us was incredible footage, but the detail within the game itself is simply breathtaking. One example of this: when an explosion goes off near Snake, a fine coating of dust covers the camera, adding to the cinematic feel of the game. Another showcase of the striking graphics is the seamless transition between cutscenes and gameplay, many of which are only highlighted by a camera shift to indicate the cutscene has ended and gameplay has begun.donwoogie

[The 16 journalists who saw the preview beg to differ.
