I always seen this one very obese girl on the bus to school near ever day. She sat there so akwardly because she knew people were talking behind her back. I felt sorry for her. I don't know why anyone would put themselves through it when they have the choice not too given a bit of will power.

It's often a vicious cycle that's tough to get out of. Most obese people got that way because eating is how they release their stress. However, they get fatter as a result which brings about teasing/taunting/mocking which gives them more stress which then makes them eat even more and on and on it goes.
I suppose that's understandable. It's harder for me to understand the intentions of others when I haven't gone through it myself.
Just saying that it's not that simple of an issue as many would like to claim it is.

Ehhhh. Better than cycles of sadness and/or boredom before dying. I'm very much a hedonistic person so this kind of stuff really interests me. Unfortunately, I won't be able to have that type of existence in my lifetime

I don't get how people view Heaven as a place of eternal bliss. Pain and suffering is required to be able to know joy and happiness. They're separate sides of the same coin and are integral pieces of one another.
Besides, being in eternal bliss all the time strikes me as incredibly boring.

I used to believe that, but that simply isn't true. And being in a state of pure euphoria/bliss does not get boring. As for the tc, we could introduce a hedonistic paradise here, but it would require serious change in society.
