My Cat Has To Go To The Vet!

I'm really sad. Yesterday, I noticed that my cat has this big bump on the side of his face. It's really hard to miss because his fur sticks out on that part of his face. I'm worried that he has a tumor there. My mom is gonna call the vet and see if she can get an appointment for him reallly soon. I just hope it's nothing bad. I got my cat about two years after my dad died. For those two years I never smiled as much as I used to, but once I got my cat I began to smile more. I love him to death, and I don't want anything bad to happen to him. When I was in eighth grade, I went to Washington, D.C. for about five days. During those five days my cat was outside and he never came home. When I came home after my trip my mom told me that she hasn't seen him since the day that I left. Then he was gone for five days after that, and he came home after that. My mom said that he was probably mad that I was gone and that was why he was gone for so long. I don't want anything to happen to him, so when we bring him to the vet, I hope it's nothing to serious.:(:(:(:(:(:(:(
