In my opinion the most important aspects of the games are 1- story, 2- gameplay mechanics, then 3- graphics.
I did not play tomb raider but every game publisher wants to sells 5-7 million and above for consols in order to consider the game as a profit.
It is very hard these days because the gaming community is divided and other gaming options are more accessible for casual people.
In addition, there are no perfect games; one game has a stunning graphics but weak story and poor gaming mechanics while other games have mediocre graphics but excellent story and very appalling mechanism.
You can distinguish most of the games now to these aspects.
