I'd say Mass Effect 2. Though I was, and still am, in love with Bioshock, I find it hard to imagine how 2k Marin (which lacks a Ken Levine) can repeat the (forgive me for using this word) epic-ness Bioshock had, especially with its story. It's not common to find a game that could place true emotions of fear, loneliness and shock, let alone repeat it in a sequel. Gameplay-wise, Bioshock 2 will probably be an improvement to Bioshock when it comes to the use of Plasmids and guns. Story-wise, it will be hard to recreate or even exceed the impact given by Bioshock.

As for Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect did not really put up a massive amount of impact to its players and so the only pressure ME2 will have will be on how it can create a good story as ME1 and how it will improve the too-simple gameplay of ME1.

Since I wasn't the one that fixed my power supply, I really don't know much about it except that there's a B500E code in it. I opened it up a little then saw lotsa numbers so wasn't really sure what I was looking at. I saw 230, 422 and 500W and well... I'm not sure which I should follow. Anyways that's all I got sorry if it's really not enough

Thanks for the comments. How bout these:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7300

Graphics Card: GeForce 8800GT 512MB

Memory: 2 GB

Then add it up with Windows 7 Home Premium and that's a little bit less than $500. Is this okay?

I'm looking for a perfect mid-range build to play most of the latest PC games. My current system:

Motherboard: AsRock Conroe 1333-D667 (Not looking into upgrading this)

CPU: Intel P4 2.6 Ghz (I need to upgrade this real bad. Because of my motherboard, I'll only be able to have 2 cores at most)

Memory: 1GB RAM

Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 8500GT (Probably upgrading this as well)

OS: Windows XP (looking forward to getting 7 sometime)

Not so sure about my sound card but I don't really care much about it

What I really need to upgrade would be the Processor and I'm thinking of Core 2 Duo...

Thanks :D

Mac's aren't really that bad for a PC but they're kinda expensive (everyone's already saying that)

Also, most games seem to be more for Windows than for Macs so it depends on the person when it comes to what to use. For gamers, I say Windows.

I don't know what The Longest Journey is but I checked its images and it looks like its a Monkey Island kind of adventure game. The 3 games are of different genres. FEAR is a horror FPS game. C&C3 is an RTS game and Longest Journey is an adventure game.

Honestly, I'm not familiar with the older games. I just started getting addicted to video games last year and the oldest game I played was Black and White 2. C&C3 is a typical pure RTS game (Warcraft 3 is both RPG and RTS) which means that you will be doing almost the same thing all the time without getting excited about it. I've never played FEAR but according to my friends, its really awesome(almost all horror shooters are). If you are going to buy FEAR because its a cool survival-shooter, might as well buy Bioshock(not as scary as FEAR but it has better graphics and has almost the same type of gameplay). Not so sure with Longest Journey but if I were you, I'd buy FEAR(I don't like the other 2).

In my last thread, I asked if I should buy Assassin's Creed or Mass Effect and almost everyone said ME. Now, I'm thinking between Bioshock and Mass Effect. Mass Effect(according to Gamespot) is better in the PC than the 360 and Bioshock(according to gamecriticsawards.com) is the 2007 Game of the Year. So please help me guys...
