Saw

Seems like I only post here after I've seen a movie, and lately that hasn't been very often. Anyway, we went to see Saw (that sounds funny) and I have to say I liked it a lot. It's very much like Seven with the clever killer leaving clues and horrible murders in his wake. The best part of this movie is the interaction between the two main characters that are trapped together, and pitted against each other by the killer. They have great dialog and it's very interesting to see how it plays out ot the end. I won't spoil anything here, but the ending just blew me away on many levels. I highly recommend it!

Forget Me Not

I saw The Forgotten this past weekend, and I must say that I was impressed. I went into this movie with pretty low expectations to begin with, but the end of the movie I was happily surprised. There were just enough twists and turns to keep me interested. Even if I can't stand Julianne Moore. I'd recommend this movie to any fan of The X-Files, there were definite parallels to some of the overt themes of The X-Files in this movie. I give it 3.25 out of 5 stars!

Bought the Trilogy I have!

Yay! I picked up the Star Wars Trilogy today on my lunch break, I can't wait to get home and crack this badboy open. I think I'm more excited to sit down and watch it with my daughter. She's 5 and has just recently picked up on the prequels. It'll be nice to watch the REAL Star Wars movies with her and see the same light in her eyes that I'm sure was in mine when I watched them as a kid.

Good stuff!

Where can I buy more time?

I think if I pick up another video game without finishing the 4 I'm already playing then someone should just kick me in the nuts. I'm hopelessly addicted to picking up new games and (attempting to) playing them. I'm fighting the urge to go out and snag ESPN 2K5 and Guilty Gear, but know that at my current rate I'll find some time to play them around Thanksgiving. If only they'd stop making so many damn good games I wouldn't have this problem!

Repitition

I really think that the forums on GS need some life. There really are way too many posts about what is your favorite game, what is the best game for Xbox, what game will help my hair grow back, etc. System Wars is usually entertaining, but on the whole there just aren't a lot of good discussions going on.

I will say that this forum, http://www.graffe.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=57 is one of my favorites. There are always great topics and discussions going down. Sometimes the flames get out of hand, but on an internet message board what do you expect? There are also some decent WoW forums to be found. Anyway, this is not an advertisement, just an example of a message board that gets it right most of the time.
