The sticks from Halo's Griffball or whatever that was. They were foolishly fun.

So wait... no continued story at all? Not even with characters?

I'm also a complete FF n00b.

Is Costco's warranty worth writing home about?

It reminds me when everyone in Hollywood made movies about talking babies... after a short while, I get the point.

I just wonder if Fall Out 4 will be another independent story, or will they try and find a way to tie it all together?

Either way, I can hardly contain my excitement.

NHL 14 is better, but I wouldn't say it's 'bigger'...it's an EA game, so that says enough. You'll have fun with 13, so it's really up to you whether you want a few nice features and updated rosters with the new version.

I'd just get 14, or 96...haha, that's the best one ever made anyway

Couldn't agree with this more. 14 really is the best game outside the nostalgic/revolutionary value of 96 (although I echo the comment about it not necessarily being "bigger"), although it's not a substantial upgrade to 13. For example, the "Live the Life" post-game interview feature, while cute, is useless after completing one season.

Thanks for asking a great question. Fall Out 3 and the ME series have had a similar plight on a great many of us... I think we need to create a support group.

Glad to see Far Cry on here. I picked it up for dirt cheap, but haven't tried it yet. Now that I've had the courage to start FO: New Vegas (which is to say, I have the courage to decide to be done with the Fall Out series), perhaps Far Cry will be next.

I'm going to have to commandeer someone's Xbox One for Witcher 3. Although "2" was woefully short, I need to see where this story goes and, consequently, if and how it ends.

Not to mention, after having gone through the first game on the PC, I was not at all disappointed with how they translated the world over to the console.

Thank God they're at least releasing Destiny on the 360. That alone might have made me crack and make the big purchase.

I'd also pick Fall Out 3 in a heartbeat. First game to really "grab me" since ME. It had it all -- open world, unique story, fantastic locations (apocalypse notwithstanding), and it just seemed to have an "it" factor that kept me up late at night when I really should've been doing other things.

Finally picked up New Vegas yesterday, and it's already threatening me with the same involuntary captivity.

I know I'll catch a lot of flak for this, but Skyrim itself was bittersweet for me. I loved it because I love the Elder Scrolls series, but I just could not be bothered to play it past the, in my opinion, very short main story.

I may be guilty of ruining it for myself -- I didn't think the main story would end when it did, based simply on the time it took to get to that point -- but I just didn't feel captured enough to pour myself into it like most others here seem to have done. I didn't spend countless hours off on the side quests because, well, I just didn't feel like it added anything to the story for me. The game's plot was building, and it was building... and then it was over.

Queue relentless backlash, I am sure, but I felt like I wasted money by buying this game as soon as it came out. I know this is a vague review -- "I didn't like it because I didn't seem to like it" -- but there it is.

*ducks*
