According to a news item on OXM UK's website, Double Dragon will be next week's XBLA arcade release. OK, a little behind schedule but well worth waiting for, especially because its only 400 MS Points!

It really is a thing of beauty. And because I don't have a wireless hub and don't need a High Def Movie Player, why the hell would I buy a PS3 over this - when the 360 has much better games and a much better online service?
Technology gets improved. Its a fact of life. Do you demand that your Car Dealer upgrades your car every time a new model comes out? If you don't have a 1080p TV, then you don't need HDMI. Even then, there's only a couple of 1080p games available at the moment anyway. As for the larger hard drive, you can "upgrade" and buy this seperately so I'm not sure what your complaint is, really.
Not everyone needs HDMI and the vast majority of people would not be able to tell the difference between Component and HDMI output. Its only since MS started releasing 1080p games and the OPTIONAL HD-DVD drive that HDMI has become an issue - albeit only one for a very small number of people who are rich enough to own a 1080p TV.
Even though I'm a UK gamer and we haven't got Video Marketplace yet, I would upgrade to the Elite if I got the chance. The only issue for me would be what would happen to the Extended Warranty I've got for my current unit?
