I hate Nintendo games because they're too cutesy and I don't want to play cute and cuddly games. Say this to a Nintendo fan, however and he'll scream at you to grow up and that you should focus on the gameplay. I hate this whole Nintendo and gameplay myth. Does Halo not have good gameplay? Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory? Star Wars: Knights of the old Republic? Forza Motorsport? Ninja Gaiden? Do you know what the big difference is? As well as having outstanding gameplay mechanics, these games ALSO have mature storylines, worlds and characters. What's wrong with having both? I'm sick of Nintendo fans slagging Xbox and PlayStation 2 fans and saying that we only care about image and not gameplay. I want games that play well yes, but also ones that have mature and engaging storylines. The problem with nintendo games is that they give you ONE thing - gameplay. But they're too cutesy. If you buy an Xbox or a PlayStation 2, you can have BOTH. Gameplay AND mature stories. Case closed. There's no way that Nintendo fans can argue this point.....The_Streets

This guys an idiot. So because a game doesn't have realistic graphics its bad? I don't understand people with this mentality. I like games like Halo and GTA too, but theres a reason a games called Wind Waker won game on the year. It looks like a disney cartoon, yet some people think thats a bad thing, cos its not filled with blood and swearing. Nintendo don't only give you one thing, they give you everything. Games like LOZ WW and games like Metroid Prime. As you say theres nothing wrong with having both good gameplay and realistic graphics, but the same goes for having good gameplay and 'cutesy' graphics.

Thats my rant over. :D

forget porting, and whoever said the ds isnt the psp is right. the psp isnt selling as well because everyone who already owns a ps2 (which is everyone) doesnt needto play a watered down version of games they can get for ps2. make new games form great series' and have new classicsRuddyMarvelous

Watered down ps2 games? I would rather play watered down ps2 games than playing watered down N64 games.(N64 games already looked so damn blurry, when u water it down what will happen?). PLus The developer say NDS is not very powerful. Satoshi Nakai of Biohazard DS team said they had difficulty at first since NDS can only dram 800polys (he didnt's say it's persec or perframe, but either way it's just really low, plus he also 'said' the polygon count on NDS "isn't a lot").

We've already seem that the DS can outperform the N64, take SM64 as an example, the first DS game and also the first N64 game, yet the DS version looks far cleaner, with nicer textures, although slightly blockier due to no texture filters, but the DS version also looks sharper without the blur the N64 had, and the DS version has alot more polygons per character than the N64.
