I was shocked to hear of the violent shootings at Virginia Tech yesterday. It was a sad event that cost many innocent students their lives and, as the news constantly reminded us yesterday, it was the most violent shooting in all of US history. It is sad as this could happen at anytime to anyone in the country and, indeed in the world. I am saddend by this tragic loss and my thoughts and prayers are with the students thatr died that day and with their families who may not have been informed yet and are waiting patiently for bad news that will eventually come. Please join me in remembering the lost ones by having a moment of silence today. Thank you.
