Hmm I just bought a 360 slim as well. I haven't used it yet, but hopefully its not loud! I bought the slim cuz my halo 3 edition got the red ring of death, I fixed it and its working great, but with my luck lately (my scooter, like a motorcycle not a razor, caught on fire) I didn't want my xbox over heating and catching fire! (very unlikely, but not risking the luck ive had in the past few weeks lol) I also got an amazing deal on the xbox slim/kinect bundle, came with a $100 best buy gift card.
