@tryit: The main thing I am looking for is the rank progression and awarding of medals. Other than that, yes, military games are a dime a dozen.

Hello, I am looking for a PC war game, any era, not a multiplayer game, that allows for the progression of rank and the awarding of medals. I enjoyed the old Gunship 2000 for DOS in the mid 90s, so I am looking for something like that, but it does not have to be helicopter related. Thanks for any help!
