They did miss a big reference in this episode. When Bronn barged in on Tyrion and Jaime's conversation with his crossbow Tyrion said in that conversation "power resides where people believe it resides" this refers back to the riddle Varys gave him back in the books and in season two episode 3 about the three great men (A King, a Priest, and a rich man) each bidding a sellsword kill the other two. Who lives and who dies? Tyrion didn't answer and Varys told him "power resides where people believe it resides"..... Wonder how that'll play out...
