4850 seems a good choice... i had a geforce 8600gt and upgraded to a 4850...performance-wise its great, good price as well. Only thing is that i got stuck with the "display driver stopped responding and has recovered" error since i bought it 1 month ago... make games barely playable because of constant crashes. Maybe i got a defective card or im just not very lucky...tried to find a solution and still nothing...

anyway this is a good choice i recon

hey guys i also got some experience with WOW... i played it but when i looked back i realized that i missed quite a lot in my real life... and i just played like 3 months...maybe 5 hours a day.

I started with my friend in 2005, and i quit in time but he did not. Now he plays everyday, when i met him the only thing he talks about is wow and he did loose a LOT of friends... including me.

So i agree that playing wow and accumulating 2.500 hours and more is problematic, the worse is to browse forum and post on how "proud" ppl are with their total wow playing time...

Dont do the same mistake....

just watch this... quite extreme mayby this guy is a worse wow addict then some of you... i pity him... may he recover!!

Hi! I got quite of a problem while playing games: it frezes for a few second, the screen turn black and it comes back again but sometime the computer freeze completely and i have to reset. The error i got is this : "the display drivers have stop working and has recovered".

I just upgrade to an ATI HD4850 card and it started when i first installed my card. I did had this problem before with my old card (geforce 8600gt) but i installed the last nvidia drivers and everything worked perfectly.

I tried to update my ATI drivers but it didnt help, I still have the proble and i cant play any games!! Its very fustrating as i spent quite a lot buying this card... anyone have any idea?

Rig: E6600

450W PSU

2gig ram

Gigabyte motherboard

Saphire HD4850

2 hard drives

cheers
