So me and my buds are going back to Erie Pa after a long hard game of Ultimate down in Pittsburgh. We decide to leave early cause we wanted to get back early. So I let my friend drive while I took a nice nap. I wake up and I'm like, "dude the car is almost out of gas". In fact, it was on its final bar of gas, and it was blinking. We didn't think much about it, we were just like lets go off the next exit, and get some gas.
The next exit was Greenville, Pa.....otherwise known as hell. We set the GPS to find a gas station. Oh a CO FAIR. So we follow the GPS directions, until it wants us to do some major U turn where we have no idea what the hell its talking about. So we go for another gas station, another Co fair. So we follow it, we are chilling...and then we notice....wait....we are on a dirt road? And it starts to get foggy........really foggy....so we are just creeped out. We just couldn't see outside. If that wasn't enough, we start seeing cows........we are in the middle of hickville, Pa. We get to the end destination of the GPS....in the middle of some freakin field. And the gas meter is just mocking us, never knowing when the car will finally just stop. We have no idea where we are, we are in fog, and we have almost no gas left....
Ah, a Sunoco on the GPS. Lets go there. So we waste another half hour going there......and we finally make it......yes we are there!!!!

WTF IT IS CLOSED?!?!?!
WTFWTFWTF.
So we go to another gas station.........its closed too?!!?!? Its only freakin 10:15!!! All of them are freakin closed......all the while the car is basically not running on gas.
We have one last chance to get to a gas station before the car just dies.......we put it in the GPS....and we drive for like 20 minutes.....our hopes are down......despair has taken hold of us...
until....wait....is that.......is that an open Co fair?!

OMG ITS OPEN!!!!!!!
We made it to the gas station.......the car giving its last breath of fuel before it can no longer go. It has gotten us to the co fair.
A journey of over 30 miles.....driven on barely any gas......and we make it.

So we go back to Erie....we left at 7:50 from Pittsburgh.....I get home at 11:15.

So, I'm posting a blog out of nowhere because I just thought "Hey, maybe I should start some blogging".

I just begun doing martial arts learning the style of Goshen Jitsu and Gracie Jitsu.

While I'm just a white belt, I'm surprised about just how many things such a lowly rank must learn in order to succeed. Oh how many times did I hear "make sure you hands are at your hip!", "snap it back more!" :P

Anyways, its really exciting, especially Gracie. The prospect that us smaller folk taking out bigger guys in ground fighting is appealing :P

In case no one knew, Gracie is what Joyce Gracie used in the MMA(quite obvious :P).

So, what styles have you guys done or learn? How'd ya like it?

So, I was just sitting at home on the computer, and my friend asks me if I ever watched Gladiator. I say no, I never found a reason too. Well, my friend basically called me an idiot and told me to watch the movie. :P

Well, I just watched the movie and........wow.......just wow. I can barely comprehend how amazing I thought the movie was. From the opening sequence, I was hooked. The battle, the scenery, the cast. Everything was well done. The life and story of Maximus was told in such a great way....the dialogue......it was magnificent. The bitter struggle between Maximus and Commodus, the quest for revenge, it was all great. However, nothing hit me as hard as the ending of the movie. [spoiler] You always expect the hero to live [/spoiler] ....I'm gonna admit it right now, Gladiator is the only movie to ever make me have a tear in my eye. [spoiler] The ending made me feel as if I just lost a friend, which seems silly, but the movie was presented in such a way. I was happy and sad at the ending. [/spoiler]

I encourage everyone to watch this movie. It is just that good.

So, I had a few problems with my account. I emailed Stardock, and the same day they emailed me back. I was blown away. They fixed my problems within one day. I have never had customer service like that before.:P

Also, I have now been using Impulse for a few weeks now, and so far I'm impressed. Impulse is kinda like Stardock's "Steam", but with different goals. Its a platform first, and a store second. Although the store is about to get a lot of great games soon. It has games from Epic, The Witcher Enhanced, and will be getting games from THQ now like Company of Heroes, and Gothic 3. All games on impulse are DRM free! Also, another thing I like is Impulse games are just like the retail games, no special things need to be made, no special patches or whatever. Its great.

And then the gamers bills of rights.

The Gamer's Bill of Rights:

• Gamers shall have the right to return games that don't work with their computers for a full refund.
• Gamers shall have the right to demand that games be released in a finished state.
• Gamers shall have the right to expect meaningful updates after a game's release.
• Gamers shall have the right to demand that download managers and updaters not force themselves to run or be forced to load in order to play a game.
• Gamers shall have the right to expect that the minimum requirements for a game will mean that the game will play adequately on that computer.
• Gamers shall have the right to expect that games won't install hidden drivers or other potentially harmful software without their consent.
• Gamers shall have the right to re-download the latest versions of the games they own at any time.
• Gamers shall have the right to not be treated as potential criminals by developers or publishers.
• Gamers shall have the right to demand that a single-player game not force them to be connected to the Internet every time they wish to play.
• Gamers shall have the right that games which are installed to the hard drive shall not require a CD/DVD to remain in the drive to play.

Now, I totally agree with the above. Stardock is taking the initiative along with other devs and companies to bring back PC gaming to glory.

So, freaking stupid Microsoft closes down the developers of one of my favorite game franchises, Age of Empires. Ensemble Studios is gone! WTF Microsoft! Why! It is one of your succesful franchises, how could you do this. And then to close them after they made a freakin console exclusive crap rts known as Halo Wars?! WHY MICROSOFT WHY!!!!!!!

Ok, more seriously now, I don't really see why they were closed down. The AoE series was successful. Age of Empires 3 sold quit a bit, over a million(not sure how much). I'm sure AoE4 would have been sucessful, and Halo Wars is just about to come out. I really wonder what the reasons MS has for doing. Also, I know that they are making a new dev, but it depends who moves, else it might not be the same game we all know and love.

Well, GS gave Spore a score of AA. I guess I need to admit I'm owned eh?:P

So, I hyped Spore AAA, and it flopped.

None the less, I will get this game. It seems many hermits don't really care about getting owned, which is a good thing. :P

Well, a mod at the off site TESFU has went rogue, and deleted everything. A years work went down the tubes. However, cause I was smart :P , I got a great idea to move to different forums soon anyway, and join XF gamer along with Keepers of the Ages (Age of Empires Union), and the Headcrab Union, thus allowing us to start over again.

So while we lost a lot of stuff, we are going to gain way more of what we had before. We are getting an Invision Power Board, and our very own actual site. The changes will be great and it will only allow us to grow more!

Hey guys. I'm going to revive The Elder Scrolls Fan Union again. This isn't gonna be easy bringing it back to the way it was before, but I have faith that I can achieve that. I need all the activity I can get, and well I'm a bit nervous. :P

Unions. One of Gamespot's best features. It makes Gamespot unique in the crowd. It allows people of similar interests to discuss what they want. It allows for a community to form. However recently, Unions seem to have been neglected. Levels don't even work, trying to promote someone is a huge pain. Telegrams are sometimes bugged. Sentinel came up with a list of changed needed, here. Gamespot said they will give it to us, and it has then been known as Unions V2. It seemed that unions will finally get the upgraded needed. However it was soon delayed. No biggie right? Well, eventually it was just put on hold. Many leaders and union goers feared that it was canned. Now that Gamespot beta has been revealed, there is new hope for Unions. I think that Unions were delayed on puropose so it can be released along with or after Gamespot beta, which makes sense. We just need to show our support though. The admins told us to vote.

Vote in this thread guys! Show your support! We need to show Gamespot how badly we need it!

Hopefully, Unions will have a better and brighter future.

Went camping this weekend with the scouts. Left friday, came back today. It was fun. The first day we didn't do much, just set up camp. One kid managed to catch himself on fire though. :lol: They were using alchohol stoves (good old sterno for me), and he forgot to put the lid on his bottle. When he lit his stove, it traveled into his bottle, he freaked out and it spilled all over his pants. I think you get what happened next.:P During the night, my tent was infested with bugs, cause my friend was the genious that left the tent open after we set it up. Well we got freaked out when we found this huge spider inside, and we ran out of the tent. Right when we ran out, we heard this growl, then two trees came crashing down. No one believed it was a bear when we told them :lol:

Second day was just grueling. 10 miles of hiking to our campsite going up and downhill constantly. Man was I tired. :x When we got to camp, rain clouds started to come in, and it thundered for like 10 mintutes, started downpouring, and 5 minutes later it just stops. Man were we lucky.

Sunday nothing interesting happened.
