Hello guys - A total newbie here in regards to computer gaming. I recently started playing Resident Evil 5 PC and while I love the game I just hate the fact that the graphic is sooooo slow on my laptop (due to the intergrated Intel HD graphic, been told there's nothing I can do with it) so looking to get a new desktop PC (need one anyway... Current one is from 7+ years ago with Windows XP, no usable graphic card what so ever). Please tell me how this sounds: A desktop with 4+ GB RAM, 500GB + hardrive, preferably Pentium ICore 7 and adding on a Geforce GTX 285/1G graphic card (if there's any better ones please do let me know), anything missing? Also are there reliable PC brands that you guys would suggest or can one just get anyting and add a good graphic card on? Thanks and suggestions/reply much appreciated.

BTW where is the game data (ie ammo, weapons and game progress) saved (on the DVD or on the computer)? Will be really crap if I need to start all over again on the new PC. : P

Hi thanks for replying. So what should I do...? Do I get a new graphic card in this case? BTW found a XFX GeForce 9800 GT Standard card on Amazon, can anyone verify if this will be suitable (for laptop)? http://www.amazon.co.uk/XFX-GeForce-9800-GT-Standard/dp/B0038J092O/ref=pd_cp_computers_1

Intel Core i5 M500 @ 2.67HZ Intel HD Graphic (don't think the laptop came with any game graphic cards) 1300 x 768 x 32 (ARG B8) DirectX 10 If it's to do with graphic can someone please suggest one that will increase the fd to at least 60 or more? Thank you for your help !
