This is really hard issue. At least what i have read and seen in there in USA. Here in my country, well it is somewhat issue on thing or two, but not so huge (finland). I dont want to step on anyones toes and I do want to see the world as equal as it can be... You know there is gonna be a but here dont you? Yeah so let me get in to the thick of it then.

Gaming. Now this is one of the main issues ofcourse cause we are in gaming site and I read then. I do see that women are portrait as sexist object in most of games. They have way too huge breast and less clothes and such.  This is a problem yes. Then again it depends on who you want to sell the games. Yes women play video games, yes they dont like to see these type of things, but it is kind of makers choise to make these and us a consumer to talk with our money. If you dont like those games dont buy them. It is all I can say. I know as a male it doesnt affect me as much as female, but I still have to say that any type of sensorship is bad. Women should talk about games they like and not blame the games that have it wrong. Like I said sensorship. And most of the time I dont myself register that after I am in the game. Like I said it is a bad thing and you should more talk to the gamemakers that you want to buy games that have "realistic" female character (main or sub).

On a side note, the whole not enough femail main character is shitty thing and I would like to see more of those too. It gives the different points of view and you have different shock systems.

Now to the hard part. the jobs. I think it is really hard thing to grasp by any one really. Or at least to people who dont see the big picture. Gaming have been here 30 year and more and it was mens job, not cause they didnt like female (if you ask nerds would they love female co-workers they would have love it.), but cause female didnt care much of games and such. That is society for you and that is just the way things are. Why moddels look like they look, why movie start are who they are and such. But yeah it was male dominated job and after 15 years people tend to see how huge this gaming have become, people started to want to join the fray. Now I like to say that if you have female with same education and gaming ref than the male it is random, but like in any job it never is.

There is 2 major things here. Connections and the work you done in past. Cause female are just coming to fray there are plenty of male who has already much more experience of the job than some of the male and you have to take that as a factor. The other thing is that when you go to any job, if you have connection (is it your the cousin of the boss or friend of a friend) they choose who they like. This is same to males also. Why some jobs are male dominated isnt cause they hate female, its cause there are less female there and they have to fight with 10 male who wants the same job. They arent dissing the female applications (some of the times at least). And should they take you just cause you are female? Like you gt 100 points more just cause of you sex?

It is hard for females here cause most of female in the past didnt care about gaming and such is the life in USA. I like to think that here in my country they dont care are you male or female and what I have heard we dont have the problem really. There is some pay issues, but in "high"-end jobs... it is quite small if none-existing.

Now I cant touch the job enviroment at all. I dont know about how much there people tend to make sexist jokes and such, but I have been working female dominated job and sometimes it wasnt fun to be the male the also. I can understand that, but it is a hard thing to change really.

I know there are whole lot of things I didnt write cause my brain dont work like that, but I think I made some of them here. As a person from not in USA I cant really understand some of the ways you guys do there.

Feminish is a really hard thing to tackle. cause there is so many things that just dont make sense or is kind of against the nature of things. I am not saying men hunt and female cather things, but we are part of what we are and you cant change them no matter how hard you try. Otherwise we would have war and violance at all. I think people should think about that and Is some of these things such a huge problem that we should use our resourses to it. There are whole lot of bigger things that need so much more help than this. I love equality of life and I love female to have oppertunity to any job that male is dominant, but dont sensor things and we are what we are. 

I myself play on and off LoL. I am not any good in any strech but I like the game enough. It is fun most off the time if you make it and dont take it too serious. I am not saying that you shouldnt try to win game or two, but dont get you pants so tight in you ass to make every ones game shitty. You are not helping any one there.

I am not here talk about that at all, but I am here to talk about why I like NA streamers and not EU. Why? English. I would watch fanatics jungle stream but I havent found it yet... Then again I havent looked so hard. That man is from the same country as me so I could at least undestand somewhat what he say and stuff and let us not forget the small patriotic part of that we have.

I know it isnt the fault of the EU people but we have way too many languages here that no one really talk the same shit and when we speak english we speak with out aful accent plus we have to put our mind on it when we want to say stuff. So it is double hard to be funny and play at the same time. 

So there is my reason why I like TSM. I dont think the team is best team, but it is team I like and at least I like 3 of 5 and one I kind of like. So yeah. But in the worlds I have to root Fanatic but if TSM and Fanatic dont play I been rooting them both. On a side note Dyrus dad is awesome dude. I have writen few things back and forward and I think he is one of the esport best dads I have seen. ATM Dyrus is so lucky to have dad like him.

 Now that those are there and you have put your mind in kind of the same level as I, you kind of see what is wrong in game industry atm. If not let me explain it to you. 

In the old good old days when we got game and such there wasnt much of pre-order at all. Sure you could go to store and say that when x game comes out they should hold it and such. And that was about it. People still bought the game and were kind of happy. The gamemakers that made good games got their money as they get now and people were as happy as ever.

Now for some reason you can get five diffenet things if you pre-order game in different places and this is weird. You have these things and you are not giving it to us but you want us to pre-order or we dont get the complete game cause most of us dont want to buy in the dark. I think that is kind of **** thing and we are kind of fault here.

We as the buyers said it was ok. Its not like we dont get the game to our lovely hands in the release date if we dont pre-order and I dont see the worst things when we pre-order games. It is that exclude things from people who want to buy it later. They dont want to give the whole game to people who buy the game day later or so. Is that so much out of their pocket that they have to do it.

In some valid point I can see is that the competion about people is fierce and they want to get enough people to buy the game, but people buy good game no matter what in the end. You dont need to put "extra" guns or doohigies in the game. Just give them to every one if you want to make them. 

Ok it is kind of iffy to give money to game that you do not know nothing and risk is ok... kind of. They the makers take that same risk also as to make the game and I hate that people tend to buy more the next halo or some other fps that comes out. People atm tell aaa complany that they want the generic games so they gives us that and some companies dont want to risk it and that is bad for the cretive minds.

Ok so I hate fps but that is me, I still gonna pre-order games... at least some if them... sometimes. Less these days cause I dont have the money buy all of them and the ones I buy I want them to be good and worth my money. 

So in the end Pre-order "extra" crap is bad and should be stoped. Pre-order is kind of bad and people should wait to see if the game is good. Why people should get there hands on the game first day? I dunno. Maybe mmo I do undestand but as a normal one player games... Well I dunno.

Keep it cool and wait for the games to come out and see if they are any good and really worth the money. You should buy games cause they are good and not cause they have been made by X person or such. 

So it has been ages since I wrote here. Really it has. For months. True story is that I work and do other things and my mind been so many places that I haven't got the chance to do some good old writing at all. And god damn there has been so many things happening in gaming indutry that I don't even undestand most of the stuff and no one person could write all the happening to one post. So I ain't gonna even try do it. Still I will write some stuff that has happened in my gaming life and just life in general.

So few major points of my life is that I am working again. It's a big deal even if the pay is crap and the job is kind of lame but money is that keeps the roof over my head and food on the table, plus the new games on my shelf. sad thing is that work takes a good part of my life too. One good thing is that my co-workers are good fun group. Some play mtg (magic the gathering) and my "boss" plays wow. so it's not all bad.

Now in gaming world. The most of our year is behind and I have to say that the best of the best has come and gone from this year. I know that fable 3 not going to shock the gaming world and there isn't any more big names coming out. Europe will have lotro free finaly in near future if it hasn't happened already and yes wow get it's long lasted expansion. To me it isn't a big news cause I left the game year ago behind plus there are better mmo games coming out (I hope.)

Now my bad news of this month is that my computer is finaly sying it's last words or taking it's final gasp. My graphic gard just broke and I think the other parts aren't that far behind so for some miracle I have to get money to buy new machine. Good thing that one of my friends have old machine that he can sell. Not some high tech but small upgrade from mine and I don't need the best of the best. I think it will work just fine with me cause my computer workds fine atm so don't see the point.

Games come and games go and I think soon I will talk about my gaming year of this year cause the year is getting near it's end. And wonder if I should get some x-mas games to my machine. So firstly the god news. I got a job. Now to some this maybe not so big deal or anything but to me at this point... It's gods blessing. I really needed the job. My rent is sucking most my money what I get once every 4 weeks and the last week is always foodless. (noodles and boridge) So I fell so great that I am getting a job now. My summer freetime is ruined mostly but then again I didn't have any money to do anything so I think I win this bet.

Before i go to todays topic I have to say sadly that I still don't have a job and it's getting frustrating to live with no money at all. Still One can hope now that summer is coming that somethign would fall out of the skies. One can hope.

So the world of mmo. What am I hype about. Well let me tell you. I listen to great podcast yesterday about tera.

(For The Lore 35 podcast have some interview tera makers) In the site of For the Lore had a interview with En Masse Entertainment's Senior Producer Brian Knox and Creative Writer Robin MacPherson who talked alot about tera. Sure what makes all the info about TERA sceptic is that they are the makers of aion. But I say have a little faith. These days we don't got too much faith in them and one can undestand that. they promise us the world and gives us a crappy cottage. It's not fair and people get disapointed. Nobody wins here mates, nobody.

So I have read mostly stuff about TERA and after I listen the interview I was first time in long time hype about mmo again. Sure I just know that they can't give all what they say and still some of the aswers are vague at best but at least they are speaking about what they have listen to and that is important. If they are listening to testers and chancing whole lot and not just some small things it can be something to try at... at least.

On a site note here, there are coming plenty other "good" mmo to light. We all know Sw:tor (Star Wars: The Old Rebuplic) and then there is GW2 (guild wars2), both games have much good things about them and then again there isn't THAT much information about them. We have to wait for E3 where I think these 3 games will have some booth there. Oh and to jrpg fans there is allways the finla fantasy 14 that is coming but I don't have much faith in that. I for some reason didn't like that much ff11 and I think this one will be... quite the same. I leave you with pic of week of TERA.

I am again in my friends coffe shop where I do my best thinking and reading. And I think I do best writing too. My way of thinking kind of need the felt of it I guess. Plus every time I am here I am relaxed and kind of happy. It's a happy place to be for me and hope that nothing ruin it for me any time soon.

So I read and write some post in the forums in different places (even in gamespot forum. oh my god!) and most of the time I have to say that forums are full of idiot people asking retard questions. Most of the time it doesn't bother me. I myself ask stubid questions once in a while but I hate with passion those people who complain about things that aren't true. It's like they are ignorant and say this is how things are and it makes me so sad panda.

And in real life like in forum people are asking idiot things and worst yet things that you get aswer really quickly on you own plus easily. The time you get aswer to those questions you oneself would have found it million times over. Questions like "Is this game any good or is a better than b" aren't stubid questions. Some people just want other people to tell them what to buy or more likely they need approval of others. It's normal and we all need it some what so that I undestand. But why for heven sake people need to troll or flame? I don't see the point of that. Then again in life there are really many stubid things that don't have any good reason what so ever.

I know many peole who don't read forums cause they know it's full of idiots and I for one don't want it. Forums are good place tto share things and get information about things that would be really hard to get anywhere else. So why are there so many people who want to ruin that good thing?

Well I hope that no one will ruin this place and I can write many lovely blogs and posts here. People should think other people more. Peace.

I have live in many places. I have been in school, work my ass of and have times that when I don't have a job (like now). In all my life the way I feel about games differs what my life has. I have seen the less time I have really to play the more fun playing is...

When I had a job I played with passion most of the time. Games tasted so much better than now that I am unenployed. I for one hate the fact. There is so many good games that I have and want to play but if I don't get the same amount of kicks that I use to have I would hate to play games. And that is the part of my problem now. I for one don't hate games no. They are part of my life like allways but I think now that I have time to play all the time it makes them kind of dull. I guess I need to want to play games and still can't... You know what I mean?

Still I have to say that I have had great blast this year. Many really good games have come out and I have play them in the end... And enjoy them greatly. So I don't think it affects me that much. Still I know there are some games I know I would have played to the end if I was working. So to me not working is bad for my gaming experience. It's kind of funny if you think about it. When I have job I want to play more and can't, and when I don't have a job and can play I don't want to.

On a bright side of life the Alan Wake is coming out next month and I am really hyped. Alan Wake is game made by remedy who made max payne. I loved max payne and I am hoping that Alan Wake will be really good game. To me it's kind of patriotism mix to the hype cause Finland don't have that many game companies that bring out good quality games out there (Remedy is kind of only "big" one). So I kind of feel that I have some part of me that yell I must love the game but I still have high hopes all the same.

I hope I can get job some time soon and i hope that Alan Wake will be at least one of the good games in this year that many MANY people will love. go go Remedy.

I have played somewhat a long time. I know there are many people who have played much longer than I but I think than now that I will hit 30 year of age soon and when I have played games my whole life I think I have played games really long time.

Before I go to my point I want to say that I hated my country (finland) for having a sad "gaming" life in the past. All the movies, games and gaming consoles took a long time to come here in the past and I think u.s had nintendo WAY before than us and don't let me get started with other things. Still movies can take whole lot of times to come here.

Now let's go to the point of my rant. As I said I have started playing games early of my life. I think it was in 1986 or so, thant I played my first game on a commodore 64. I was really small kid back then. It was in my daycare place that I played and after that I was hooked on games. I started to play rpg games (pen and paper) soon after. And now I have seen the MOST gaming world what it have bring out. Sure some of the things never came to europe and I guess we are lucky cause they were flops. Now that the gamees and computers and consoles have come long way to this day and the evolution of games is something that makes me wonder how amazing they are I have to say I still love some of the old games. And it makes me wonder. I think grapics are good thing and it's cool how the games can bring cool now things because of it, but it is still a really small thing to me. I don't really need good graphics at all and some of my favorite games don't have really that good graphics. I wonder if this because I have played ages of games cause I see how many complain about games that have poor graphics.

For me I would hate how the game makers have to put so much effort to make the game graphics better and better when after all it doesn't matter that much and I have seen so many games that have good graphics that are still bad games. Now I would be hypocrite if I said that it doesn't make a good game better if it has good grapihc on it. But when it is ok graphic to me it don't have to be any better. Or at least it doesn't affect me that much. Now if I compare ps3 and xbox 360 same game graphics to me I don't see much difference. So is it just me or is this one of the plus thing bacause I am old gamer?

I paly mmorpg's way too much and I can say that I could be somewhat expert of the matter. I can say I have tested at least half what is out there. F2P or P2P doesn't matter to me. I allways try to find the next big thing. Sometimes I want to be superhero, ninja, pirate or some fantasy warrior who has ten feet sword and spunky hair. So there is no mmo I don't touch... Well ok, Hello Kitty online is one thing I haven't tested and don't think I want to touch it with ten foot pole.

So I have played the grinding, pve, pvp or just questing games out there. What I have notice is that MOST games can be fun if you have right people. It doesn't matter much if it cool looking or if the interface is the best there is. If you got the people I can bet that you can have fun with any game out there. The people are really the building blocks that makes a game good game.

Now people could argue with me on this one but in the end the mmo world isn't that much different for the next one. You can see the same things in all of the games. Some one could say they clone from one game, but I myself don't say anything about it. It's all the same to me. You will have some small twitches in each game that makes it different. Is it flying, the races, the world, that it's based on some game/movie/book, the core usualy is the same. So the only different thing is the people and let me tell you the endgame is allways a repeat after repeat so you need a good community.

So as I have played many MANY mmorpg out there I have been in many guilds too. I have been on a group that is mainly from my own country, random people, people who have vent, people who don't have one... But the ones that work the most are the guilds that have ventrilio or teamspeak or something like that. You need to hear your guild members so you can get the personalities of them and make them a real people to you. And it makes so much fun when you can speak different things why you grind you bones off the same mobs. You need some social contact or you will get bored with the game really quickly.

So I have seen many guilds. Now I have seen many guilds crash too cause what I can see is that most people are self centered and only see their own character in the game. Most people only help you if they gain something out of it and this is what breaks the guild fast. Sure they are good players can be the best pvp (Player vr player) or in pve (player vr enemy) but in the end if you don't pull the same robe you will see the other people as a idiot who you will hate at some point. Now a good guild needs a good leader as in any work enviroment. If you don't have that again everything will die. so to get a good working guild going on is a really hard work. To me I never could be a leader cause I suck at it and people should know that it is lot of work and they should undestand if they aren't good at it they shouldn't be one. The important thing isn't just to be a good player but to be good leader too.

So if you ever want to make a guild use some kind of speaking program and try to think all of your guild. Think if your guild is casual or hardcore cause it can't be both. And help the lowest people and try not see only your character. Don't think only for yourself... that doesn't make you good leader.
