A great throwback to Metroid with its own narrative spin to it
Metroid on the NES was an influential title back in 1987 and it's still being shown after 30 years. Improvements to the formula like Super Metroid on the SNES and Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night on the PlayStation 1 ... Read Full Review

The Mummy Demastered
Relatively short and easy, yes, but The Mummy Demastered is fun nonetheless
Metroidvania games are usually my favorite genre in gaming, next to platformers. So to my surprise that another one was released a couple of months ago developed by Way Forward (the same company behind the well acclaime... Read Full Review

Mega Man Legacy Collection
For a compilation pack, as good as it is, this one felt bare-boned
For the past 30 years, Mega Man has been one of the all-time greatest videogame characters. Ranging from his humble beginnings in his NES debut to his guest appearance in Super Smash Bros. For Wii U, the blue bomber has... Read Full Review

Odin Sphere Leifthrasir
One of the most beautifully crafted 2D games I've ever seen in years.
Odin Sphere has been around for over a decade since it was originally released on the PlayStation 2. Despite a small amount of people owning and/or playing this game, it developed a loyal cult following but it was long ... Read Full Review

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
Holy building blocks, Batman, this game is great
The LEGO videogame series has always been known for its lighthearted charm, simplicity and flat-out hilarious humor that goes with it. Oh and tons of destruction and re-building. LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham has all of... Read Full Review

WWE 2K15
Keep your copy of WWE 2K14. This game is a bare bone's variation.
You know that a franchise is slowly approaching its death bed when the follow-up is nothing but a bare bone variation of what its predecessor used to be. And WWE 2K15 is a prime example of that. 2K14 gave us the return... Read Full Review

The Order: 1886
What could've been one of the PlayStation 4's defining new IPs turned into utter disappointment......
Picture this: a steampunk setting back in the late 19th century. London, England. A band of noble knights protecting the land from vigilantes, conspirators......and the best part? Werewolves and vampires. Combine that wi... Read Full Review

WWF Attitude
WWF Attitude was great for its time, but it just doesn't hold up in this day and age
The Attitude Era in the World Wrestling Federation, now the WWE, was in full swing by this time and beating World Championship Wrestling to the punch in 1999. Although WCW had two superior games developed by AKI, that d... Read Full Review

WWE 2K16
Austin 3:16 says "this game is not all that good either." But it's not as boring as the PS4 version.
I was not a fan of a lot of the changes made to the series on the PlayStation 4; that ironically started with their last edition (WWE 2K15) and it didn't get any better from there. Slow, boring gameplay, unresponsive rev... Read Full Review

WWE 2K16
Austin 3:16 says "this game is not all that good." You don't say?
I skipped WWE 2K15 due to how bad the game was when it came out. 2K picking up the pieces of what Yukes has done for years with the series was a welcome change, but it was not for the better. So many features that were a... Read Full Review

New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U
Same old, same old but the Luigi DLC makes up for it.
What else can I say about New Super Mario Bros that hasn't been said already? The DS version was great. The Wii version was pretty damn good. The 3DS sequel was easily the weakest. This one, while not as bad as the 3... Read Full Review

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
"Stay frosty" for yet another spectacular addition to the Donkey Kong Country franchise
The Donkey Kong Country franchise has been around since 1994. The first one on the Super Nintendo was, dare I say, just as good or better than the formula for Super Mario World on the same console. Years later, two more ... Read Full Review

You love arcade hack and slash games? You are going to LOVE Strider......
Strider Hiryu has seen better days. And by better days I mean having his last adventure.....on the PS1 in 1999 along with making appearances as a fighter in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. This cult following franchise, one... Read Full Review
